Some features need to be added
This is a great start and has potential, but the app is missing some important features.
1. With instrument sales, there are no photos. That is absolutely necessary! You should be able to post instruments and accessories for sale with photos.
2. I’m seeing postings in the opportunities page that are past the deadline, and are not shown as “closed” or filtered out. It is flooded with opportunities that are already finished with auditions. To avoid this, some sort of feature automatically closing them after that date should be incorporated.
3. You should be able to sort opportunities by date posted. It looks like it’s only by distance right now, which is good too, but after experiencing the above point, I wanted to see the newest postings on top, and I couldn’t find a way to do that.
4. In the profile section, you are asked to choose between some statuses. This was confusing. You can be a “professional” or you can be a “composer” but you can’t be both. Is that supposed to mean professional performer? Also, many musicians qualify as multiple of these statuses—you should be able to pick multiple, and some of which aren’t even listed, e.g. orchestrator, arranger, conductor, teacher, etc.
