Description
Glory Math 1 is an interactive, generative art application for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. Starting with a blank slate, touch and shake to create constantly evolving shapes and fields of color. Explore color noise, merging liquids, and spastic color bars, each only briefly maintaining existence. In the end, all devolves into a single color state... Until you begin your exploration again.

Generative Art in your Palm
I honestly spent a bit too much time with this app for my own good. Using multi-touch and shaking, you can create incredibly ornate and fascinating moving images in moments. Glory Math Part 1 is fantastic, and sure to keep your eyes and fingers entranced for hours.

how come the screen caps just make a solid black image?

Some promising forms come out of the program but it keeps falling into a pattern you can't get it out of...a kind of tv-snow. The math/algo needs to be redesigned and the shake reset needs to be more reliable to escape constant rebooting.
Some advice:
A) Don't touch it a lot...each tap adds a spreading circle of noise, so add a point and observe a couple minutes;
B) If you get 'snow' WAIT...it is slow but it will 'figure itself out' -- taps will only compound the problem and the shake reset is sluggish with really random screens. (This part of algo is needing most attention from dev)
C) Observe whole cycle from shaken screen reset to empty again...this will take several minutes but you will learn to intuit the patterns and you will know when to touch and when to just watch!
