Goal2Quit is a mobile app developed to help you quit smoking cigarettes. Goal2Quit helps you quit by targeting symptoms of low mood that make you want to smoke and make it tough to quit. Most smokers say that when they feel down, depressed, bored, angry, or irritable they want to smoke. Goal2Quit will help you identify and complete activities that improve your mood and in turn make it easier to quit smoking and remain quit. Goal2Quit is based on an evidence-based treatment for depression and smoking cessation. The development of Goal2Quit was sponsored by a grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
