Has potential
The game doesn't have great graphics, and you do have to tap a whole lot in the beginning, but it looks like it has some potential for those who like clicker games. And I probably would have ended up playing it for awhile but when tapping the screen with two fingers, it constantly moved the screen away from the camp, and you cannot tap and earn money away from the camp screen.

Cool game. Some reviewers misunderstand the game
Economy game and earn by tapping equipment and fueling the equipment. Each item you buy makes more money and consumes more fuel. ADDITIONALY... each piece of equipment acquired makes MORE money by tapping on them. So you start out tapping camp for a lousy dollar per tap then can TAP equipment purchased for allot more money. Buy a pump and earn 5 dollars per tap and upgrade/purchase other equipment that make even more per tap. Thusly been playing for a few days and now have a wheel loader that earns over 40'000 dollars per tap. Wish i could reply to some of the frustrated reviewers. Oh well. I enjoy the game. Takes as much or as little time per play as you want.

This is the worst app I've ever seen. You start out with no money and no land or equipment. The guide tells you that your first purchase is land but you have to make 500 dollars to do it and to make the necessary money, you have to tap the campers on the land 500 times. After that you have to buy a water pump for 1000 dollars. Again, no money so you have to tap the camp 1000 times. Then you need a generator. Guess what? 6500 dollars. Back to tapping again. It is a very tedious task that makes absolutely no sense. The easiest way to get through is to buy diamonds through in-app purchase. There is no way to actually gold mine on this game. It was set up to simply scam people out of money. Don't waste your time. I know Gold Rush is a cool show, but this app is crap. I wish the makers of Gold Rush would develop an actual functioning gold mining game.

SERIOUSLY? Positive reviews?....LOL
This game is so child like and ridiculous. First the person who designed it can not even speak English or write a sentence that has proper grammar. So hence, the game is not very well explained......you have to figure it out on your own or try and read between the poor grammar sentences!!! It has NOTHING to go or even resemble the TV show Gold Rush. You never see any gold, all you do is tap the screen. I downloaded it, played it for about 5 minutes after I tried to read the broken English sentences and then just deleted the game. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Not sure what the people are playing who are giving it positive reviews......unless they all have the metal capacity of a 8 year old!!!

Ghost Expenditures
You’ll find yourself buying new equipment that’s supposedly going to make you money, but really, it’ll slow down your $/s. I should be making 2,000+/s but it’s more like 100/5sec. This game needs a large update. If there really are expenditures, then they should be shown, and I should have the option to sell equipment I don’t want. I understand there being a fuel cost because that’s logical for running equipment, but my fuel cost is all at once, it shouldn't be slowing down the funds coming in from 2000/sec to 100/5sec. Fix your game!! Let me be able to send you an email about the game without the game crashing. This game is trash until there is a large update.

Nice game need improvements
Personally I think the game is great now but in the tutorial you should probably mention that you have to hold one part of the screen down with one finger and then use the others to tap and not move the screen you should also get some better graphics but overall great game good economy and you know pretty hard but that's life.

Got it because of the name
I thought it would be a neat game, considering I watch gold rush.
On to the review...
1) I get you have to spend money to make money. My tractors only pay me a 10th of what it says on the banner as it goes up.
( example: the campers… I gotta push 5 times before it will give me a dollar)
2) See better or detailed instructions in the beginning. I get what your supposed to do, find gold. Give me a better description when I’m downloading the game. So I know exactly what I’m getting.
3) I would like to see all the equipment I’m buying. Not just the next part on the list. Show me all of it. I understand you have to buy one part to make the next part work.
4) Once you get over 1 million $ the math portion isn’t right. (Example: i bought a tractor. Typed in what I had before I bought it and the total didn’t add up)

Game could have potential
But it's just not great. You have to tap a total of 1500 times before you can even start making money without tapping. I like the idea of the fuel and needing to refuel/upgrade but it's just so slow when you have to spend that money. It would be cool to have achievements that offer bonuses to tap/auto gains because at least then it would give you something more to work towards. Not saying that this is a bad game, but it needs work. It might also help to have the dialogue written so it can be understood more easily.

Latest bug fix needs fixing.
Love this game but since the latest update I notice my screen moves around a lot for no reason. Also the bonus items for extra gems and cash multipliers speed across the screen now at a ridiculous pace now! If you blink you miss it and there are times I tap on them and it still doesn't register that I tapped on them! Developers need to go back and fix this immediately!

Impossible to play with multiple fingers
It’s nearly impossible to play the game with multiple fingers to speed up the money gathering process. Multi clicking on the main area is not that but when you try and do the same with any of the mines that you bought the screen starts scrolling like crazy. The game thinks that you are trying to scroll instead of trying to click more. Kinda ridiculous how small the “dead zone” is. Not worth the time.
