This all-new version of Everyday Golf Coach HD still includes all your favourite videos from leading PGA professional Noel Rousseau, but we've now added a stunning analysis suite. The SwingAnalyser lets you import golf swing videos (either your own, or any that you find on publicly available sites). You can then compare them frame by frame to identify key areas of improvement.

Better for beginners than golf plan
Less of an app this is really a series of instructional videos. However the content is great and well presented and in my view much more useful to beginners than the Golfplan app.
I have some jiggles though. The audio quality on the videos could be clearer and definitely louder. The summary text gets truncated when in landscape mode and you have to flip the iPad to view it, why can't I scroll? I would like the ability to bookmark important parts within the videos. Also I would prefer that the app remembered which videos I had viewed.

Soooooo awesome
I can't tell you how much I love this app. It's really very simple. There are 30 or so short 2 minute videos with perfect explanations for all major aspects of the game. They are perfectly organized and each video provides an easy to understand lesson.
By stepping through the videos at my own pace, I was able to quickly memorize the various concepts, and apply them without going through a point by point checklist as I play. My last game and trips to the driving range have shown that I'm really having a breakthrough due to these simple lessons.
I still have not tried the swing analyzer, and plan to do so this weekend. But I have to say, even without the analyzer, this app was worth it. Thanks so much!

Very cool app!
I've been using the previous release of the app as a reference tool for different aspects of by game. I find the training video's simple and helpful. They've really helped me bring my scores down. I found the video re reading greens particulalry useful.
I downloaded the new rev a couple of weeks ago and have just started to use the swing analyzer. I took a couple of swing videos on my iPhone and imported the .MOV files as per the FAQ solution on the Every Day Golf Coach web site. Although they don't think they can support .MOV files, it worked fine for me. Being able to compare my swing with the pro's side by side is a real eye opener. Man does my swing need work!
All in all a great app, especially for the money.

Why not 10 years ago
I've taken hundreds of lessons and spent thousands of dollars on trying to learn the golf swing and be a more consistent ball striker. I have struggled with way to many drills and swing thoughts. This app makes the golf swing seem so simple and easy to repeat. The circle drills let you feel and see the corrections you need to make. I wish he would come out with more I want to keep learning now that I have consistent results. If you want to simplify your swing and improve quickly this is the app for you. Man I wish I would have found this 10 years ago! 10 stars thank you for this app.

Instructional videos... 5 stars. Clear, concise videos explaining every aspect of the swing. Very helpful with exercises to practice proper form. Also, they are downloaded as part of the app and don't need to stream.
Help section... 5 stars. Gives great advice how to analyze your own swing. Shows pictures with tools used.
Swing analyzer... 3.5 stars. Uploading large videos caused multiple and repeating crashes. I had to troubleshoot to discover it wouldn't crash if I cut the video down to just the swing. Also, using the tools could be easier. There is a bar that needs to open to choose, then closed again before using. Not horrible, just annoying.
Overall... 4 stars. It will improve your swing once you film yourself and see the imperfections of your swing. The videos are tremendous. Analyzer needs a few tweaks. Worth every penny though.

Oh- did I say he did that in a two and a half minute video clip? For the price of a burger and fries?

Very good app
If you are like me you are not looking for a quick fix but instruction that will help you build a strong foundation for your game. If so this is the app for you. This is the best app I've found for improving my game from the bottom up. Videos are clearly conceived and presented. The tools provided in the swing analyzer are easy to use and effective. Well worth the money. Two versions are available. Foot the bill for the hd version. You'll not regret it.

Best Golf App for iPad
This app provides a detailed overview of the basic fundamentals of the game of golf. All of the major topics of golf instruction are covered, and the videos are clear, concise, and the HD video production quality is outstanding. I use this app as a quick reference for the basic fundamentals of golf. It is easy to get bogged down in too many swing concepts and ideas but this video keeps it simple and helps you focus on the true fundamentals.

Have been viewing the videos over the past few months and it has helped me with many aspects of my game. Highly recommend this app for the golfer whom wants to understand the fundamentals and continually improve his game.

Best 8 bucks I ever spent
First time I have ever bothered to write an app review but I had to!
Fantastic video lessons. Instructor keeps it simple and relaxed. Swing analyzer lets me practice at home every day and has improved my game in a matter of days. I just prop my iPad on a table and swing on a rafia mat. Easy to see the flaws in your swing.
All for less than a large bucket at the driving range.
