Great app to help you see progress
Most of the reviews I read said the same things, most commonly that it is super easy and isn't that what most of us want? In just seconds after a round, I post my score to this app and instantly see the direction my handicap is going. I find this very helpful, not just another "gimmick" to improve your game. A practical and effective tool. Thanks for a great app that works every time I open it!

Just ok
I’ve been using this app for quite a while. Purchased the advanced version this year since I was playing more golf. It’s a very intuitive app - almost too simple. I’d like them to add some sexiness to the app. It looks like an app from 2010. It works fine, my 2 complaints is that 1. You have to manually backup your scores. I recently lost my phone and started from scratch. Logged into the Handicap app expecting all my data to be there, but it wasn’t. I tried to use the “restore” feature and nothing happened. I had no idea this wasn’t automatically backing up. So now I lost my entire summer of 30+ rounds of golf. Really upset about that. And 2. I find this app only has about 75% of golf courses. It’s missing Courses that have been around for decades which is odd to me. You can manually add a course but that’s a pain. I’m going to look at other apps considering I just lost ALL of my data.

Go with the competition. Not this app.
Mainly disappointed with the customer service after changing phones. Had some difficulty migrating a season of scores, and the customer service team would not get on the phone to walk through my challenge with me. That - or 5 minutes on the phone- would have saved them and me days of going back and forth on email to no positive resolution of the problem. Most of these handicap apps are equal in product. Customer support and service is an easy way to differentiate. But not for this company. I will go with a competing app with better (or any) customer service. Bad experience, and I don’t get my money back.

Super Simple
This is the first season I actually wanted to keep track of my handicap because I started shooting better rounds consistently. I have the gps score tracking app by the same company and I have been super pleased. This was no different. Super easy to use at a great price. Has the course I play around New Jersey. I love seeing the percentile amongst other golfers as well so I can gauge how I am doing in relevance to more than just my buddies. Great find.

Replaces GPS
This app is awesome. It literally takes the place of any over priced GPS device for golf. I use it on every course I play and every hole I play. Super accurate. You can download any course you play and it shows you a detailed overhead view wherever you are on the course. I love it and it lets me know exactly how far I am away from the pin no matter where I am on the course. Big ups to the “map” function

Needed a handicap
I needed to establish some-kind of handicap to play in club tournaments or games. The area I lived in before and the guys I played with never cared about handicaps. We played money games and if you didn’t want to lose you had to get better at golf. This was valuable in improving my game from someone who would shoot 90 to shooting in the 70’s. Now I in a new area and these people don’t play like that.

Great App
I used to keep my handicap thru GHIN. Cost me over $30 per year but I do not play in any tournaments where I would need an “official”handicap. This app does the same thing (helps me see if I am improving, keeps my handicap) but for a one time fee. Works great and it has kept a history of all of my rounds for the past two years (160 plus). This is a great app unless you need an “official handicap”.

Great easy to use app
This app is great. It keeps my scores and calculates a handicap number for me with ease. At a glance, I can see over a time period my scores and if they've improved, maintained or gotten any worse. While I don't care about having a real handicap registered index, I do enjoy this app for my own personal edification of where I'd be if I registered for a handicap index and really gave a hoot.

App change suggestions
Very simple apps. One suggestion. I do not play same tees all the time. Same tees during each round, but change tees when playing with specific people or in tournament. Please allow change of tees for each individual round of 9-18. Handicap s cannot be figured accurately as App is now when Black tees and Gray tees used on same course different days and rounds. An Update would allow more accurate GHIN.

Paid for but no service provided
I purchased a “lifetime” membership for this app in 2016. I recently updated to a new phone and upon adding my golf app back, my login info would not allow me to post new scores. I inquired with my trouble and the customer service rep Grace asked to see my receipt. You’d think they would have that info. I went to the trouble to provide it, only to be then sent a link with their new policy that wants a payment annually. Needless to say that’s annoying. I’ll find another app. I hear the Grint is good.
