GolfTrak Hack 1.0.5 + Redeem Codes

Best one I’ve found so far. Sometimes it’s pretty accurate and sometimes it’s way off but it tries to be a simulator just from your phone. if the developer is reading this you should of total yards and carry distance as an option not just one or the other and it always says my swing is outside and even when I swing inside out so that should get looked at also. I put the camera directly 4 feet back directly behind the ball. anyways it’s a really cool app just needs some fine-tuning.

I like the direction this app is heading but it isn’t very practical because you cans use the screen to setup the ball unless you put your club down. Lots of delay before reading the results and I haven’t been able to get enough reps in because it’s so cumbersome to operate. Also I could see how to get back to the metrics after they left the screen.

It seems to work just fine as a launch monitor but I can’t seem to get it to work with e6 connect. It says it’s connected but then nothing happens on the screen after I get the shot information on this app. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I was so excited to try this app today. I got it connected to e6 without any issues, and started hitting shots, reasonably easily.

Similar to the other review, about 50% of the reads seem accurate, or close, and the others are just way off. Most of the misreads I had were in terms of distance. For example, I normally hit a 7 iron around 155-160, and for good reads, I’d be just about in that range, but bad reads would show like 46 yards or something similar. I tested with a 5 iron, 9 iron, and driver and had similar results. For the driver, I did get one or two good reads around 250 yards, but then I was getting reads like 130 which was obviously not even close (I hit it reasonably normal).

I am hitting into a net in my garage, so I’m not sure if that causes any issues for the app, but if it did, I would have assumed it would be either consistently bad, or good. I also tested moving the ball around the ready area and that caused the reads go be very erratic as well.

Overall I really like the app and the ease of use, but it feels like it needs to be setup perfect in a perfect room to work, not sure if it’s worth the frustration. I am going to continue to evaluate it, but I hope new updates address some of the challenges.

Kudos to the author for a breaking into this space with an app that doesn’t require a absurdly expense launch monitor. I look forward to its evolution.

Just crashes every time. Guess i’m paying $600 for a garmin 😕
