Goluk Fails to Update; Newer Devices NOT compatible
After emailing back and forth with Goluk manufacturer customer service on a warranty claim because I cannot get the camera to download via WiFi as it should, they admitted that my devices are too new, and the outdated Goluk app needs to be updated to work with them.
12248689,
App is garbage
Don’t buy this device. The device is good but the app that runs it is total garbage. Won’t connect and off chance it does connect it’ll randomly disconnect when you are trying to use it. Wishing I bought something else.

Stuck at “connecting”
Connected iPhone 13 pro with T1 through Wi-Fi. Then opened app but app keep getting stuck on “connecting”
Pranav musty,
Not connecting
I am connected to the Wi-Fi off the Goluk but it is just stuck on the same screen that says connecting I’ve been on that screen for minutes and have tried multiple times deleting the app and re-downloading the app, turning off the device turning it back on, turning off the phone I’m turning and on phone. Literally nothing works I can’t change any settings on the device because it simply will not connect to my phone and it won’t connect to a computer either even through a wired connection. The device takes beautiful video but software wise, this business is going to fail because they don’t know how to do it.
Mac nutty,
Great camera worst app ever
The camera takes awesome video. The app however will NOT stay connected while viewing loop. Stays connected about 10 seconds then looses connection. Not helpful if you want to download to phone. I always need to eject card and bring to a computer to view, why can’t the camera and app stay connected the entire time I have app open and try to view especially if car is stationary. Not useful
Scarfaceempire,
Everything is perfect but one thing
Everything works perfectly. Camera quality is perfect. But I’m having trouble with one thing or having trouble understanding it. I have a iPhone X on iOS 11.3.1 and when ever I want to connect my phone via wifi to the camera I have to always put my phone in airplane mode just to connect to the camera. Why is that ? That is the purpose of that. Why can I connect to the camera via my phone without always having to put it in airplane mode. Hopefully this can be fixed. Or explained to me.
Briq4,
It works but could work better.
It would be very convenient if videos would play in succession. Or at least when you go back to the videos list that it would take you back where the video you just viewed was at. Also, the wonderful videos really need to capture more like a minute before and after it is pressed. I always miss the incident I’m trying to capture with the remote. It’s very frustrating. The WiFi even on the T1 which is suppose to be faster is not much faster than the T3.
GeeRider,
T2s has been great to me
I’ve owned 2 T2s and they have been great for me for the past 2 years. Works every time in Texas weather and even peak Arizona summer without any issues. It has spotted several accidents in front of me and every time I use my iPhone to pull video it has worked. The App has worked every time I needed also. Hope things work well for several more years.
jeodee,
Still waiting.
The app simply won’t connect the the camera anymore via WiFi and to be honest, I get tired of listening to the camera tell me to do so every time I turn it on.
When I first purchased the Goluk T2, one for the front and one for the rear view of my vehicle, I was quite impressed and had absolutely no complaints. Now, I just use BlackSys with dual cameras and I’m already in the process of replacing my existing Goluk T2.
The camera may still be good but there are better. Cams with apps that actually work together via WiFi connection.
Oliver230,
App is fair
App can be used to erase unwanted locked files or download video to phone. Camera settings are adjustable through app when connected. WiFi to iPhone is not reliable. I finally found, after almost replacing camera due to inability to connect anymore after iOS updates, that putting phone into airplane mode helps, so now app is usable again- to its former intermittent connection status at least.
