12/10 would play again
Really relaxing and joyful app. Controls are a little difficult to get used to (I jump when I don't mean to, and vice versa), but it's still fun and I'm not focused on winning. New landscapes are fun.

Please give us a way to download the game music! I'd love to hear this on a run through my local park and I'd happily pay for it though iTunes.
Zen mode would be awesome, where you can just run endlessly with any dog in the game and not worry about running into stuff or doing a splash.

Good dogs, okay game
I really enjoy playing this game, but I fall into phases playing it because I find it really hard to advance. I’m a graduate student, and I play the game to unwind and relax. However, I find it really hard to advance to new landscapes and dogs without putting hours and hours into the game, which I don’t have. I still only have one landscape and two dogs, and it just gets stale after awhile. It makes me not want to play it for more than a few minutes at a time because it’s more of the same. It would be nice if advancing was a little more attainable, at least at first.

great game, but needs fixing
i love this game so much, it’s very easy to just sit and play for hours on end. love the dog rates account and i’m glad they made a good game to match! but i’ve notices a couple of bugs here and there, for example when you change ted’s color it shows up as a different color in the doggo choosing menu, and the way miles runs is different then the other characters, a little more off to the side (i’m not sure if this is intentional or not but i’m not a huge fan either way); but otherwise the game is amazing and i’m excites to see what comes as it updates further! 10/10

Love dogs in hats and bow ties? This app is for you
This app just keeps getting better. Latest upgrade has new features like daily challenges, kennels, sticker packs, new hats, and dog treats that make me want to play more. Developer was super responsive when users reported issues, applying fixes to squash the bugs. Now if I could just find the elusive Miles, my pack would be complete.

That said, I was experiencing the same lock issue on loading mentioned in other reviews. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that fixed that problem. But now the app crashes every time I take a photo. Given that’s one of my current daily goals (to take 3 pics) that is extremely problematic.
Love the Dog Rates social media accounts. Hope the game issues get fixed so the app is up to that standard.

Love it but
I’ve literally only gotten to play it like 4 times because every time I open it now it freezes on “doing dog stuff” and it says you guys fixed it a few times but still I cannot play

I really loved this game for the two hours it worked on my phone before the “doing dog stuff...” glitch came in. Even after the newest update, my game still won’t open past that screen, and I’m very frustrated because this is such a good game but I’m getting close to just deleting it because it simply doesn’t work at all. Please fix it soon!!

I really love this app but, ever since the new pup date I can’t get past the “doing doggo stuff” screen. If it helps I paused the game in the middle of a run and the game has yet to reload.. I hope you fix this soon, I love this app.

13/10 game...
... when I can play it. Unfortunately sometimes the game won’t load. It gets stuck on the “doing dog stuff” screen and no matter how long I wait it never changes. Hopefully this can be fixed soon! Other than that, the game is colorful and very fun!
