Description
A comprehensive grammar, accent and pronunciation program designed to teach American English. It includes comprehensive placement testing, 10 chapters combining grammar and accent, with exercises, quizzes and tests. There are many audio files and a voice recorder (not for iPod Touch) for the user to compare with the model audio. The dictation exercises improve listening comprehension. Each chapter has a submittable essay. An English dictionary has all the words in the program with a simple definition for each. Translation dictionaries are included in Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese.

One of my favorite things.....
My MA in Communications Management is from USC's Annenberg School, and
I found the information in this app invaluable, not only for my
writing students, but for my own edification as well. The structure is
well thought out and easy to follow and contains an amazing amount of
information in an extremely compact form. It has all the parts of
speech, myriad tests, word order, and tenses all presented in a very
user-friendly format. As an educated native speaker, I knew all the
verb tenses and how to use them. However, I wasn't always clear on
how to explain to my students the differences between certain tenses
and how they relate to each other. With the Verb Map, I can literally
point to any verb form in English and give an easy-to-understand
explanation.
And as serious as all this is, I had a lot of fun with the audio
recorder, listening to myself and comparing it to the model audio. I can see how
that would be quite beneficial to non-native speakers.
So if you have a predilection for American English with all its quirks
and glory, I would highly recommend this app.

I love it
This is a fantastic program and I HIGHLY recommend it. This app has put together clearest and easiest program, step by step. Every time I use it, I find out that I have learned new things about my accent and grammar again and again. This app is really good for people who are from different countries and have an accent other than an American (like me) :D It helps you to learn how to speak like an American. I believe this is a great value for the money.

Waste of money
I bought it last year, but I have barely used it because it doesnt help much. I can read a book, and it help me more. Tge dictionay is the most stupid idea.. Scan a list of words in two languages and call it dict.. Are you serious to make this app?

Just like I buy a book in iPhone
And if i switched to do another thing such as a phone call it didn't save my test...After I already did a haft of it....
