Grandstream Wave Lite is a FREE softphone application which allows users to make and receive voice/video calls through their business or residential SIP accounts on any iOS device (version 8.0+) from anywhere in the world, via either cellular data or WiFi. This application supports integration of up to 6 SIP accounts, 6-way voice conferencing, and allows users to monitor their IP PBX (such as Grandstream's UCM6100 series IP PBX & UCM6510 IP PBX) while utilizing speed dial with up to 24 virtual BLF keys. Grandstream Wave Lite also supports advanced SIP telephony features including call transfer, LDAP phonebook integration and more. I like the app. It is a very handy app to have within my business that allows me to have an mobile device to walk around my Ace Hardware. I would just really like to see a few updates/ upgrade to the app please. 1. Add the ability to have a favorites list added to that app very similar to the One built into ISO 14. 2. I would also like the ability to not have all my contacts on my cell phone be visible within the app. I use this app for work purposes only and I want to keep work and personal separate. 3. Also would like the app to have the ability to add groups so I could group my contacts that I use within my business for calling different associates in different departments.

Video call camera
On ios when making video calls people need to accept the call then turn on the camera. On all other apps like facetime or whatsapp when you make video call and person accept it, the camera automatically get activated. Please solve this

App Doesn’t Run in Background Properly
When I’m connected to a Grandstream UCM, and my phone network changes (from WiFi to cellular or vice versa), sometimes the app automatically reconnects. Many times it does not. My phone has been connected to my company’s WiFi, connected, and when I walk outside, I get disconnected and reconnected notifications like it’s supposed to. The app, however, never seems to reconnect when I get home, and as a result, gets stuck in a disconnected state and I have to reconnect the following morning when I realize I’m not getting any calls because my phone hasn’t reconnected automatically.
Contacted GS support regarding this, and they told me to check the Background App Refresh setting (already on). Beyond that, they stated they tested on their end, and found no issue, pointing me to a StackOverflow article discussing how iOS apps behave in the background.

So Power Hungry
I used to love this app when I first got it. Now I feel like a recent update has made this just about unusable. It used 68% of my battery in the last 24 hours and I probably only actually used it 3 times yesterday. Most of that time was the background refresh. It should not take THAT much battery to remain connected in the background.
Developers: if you can’t fix the battery drain, at least provide us with the ability to set hours that it will refresh in the background and crush our battery. I shouldn’t lose 60% battery overnight and wake up with a dead phone just because my phone’s not plugged in.

Almost impossible to set up on 1-Voip
When it is connected, the App seems to work fine. Synchronizing with Outlook Contacts allows you to pull up Contacts and place calls easily. HOWEVER, if you intend to use this App in connection with voice over Internet (VOIP) service through 1-Voip, I caution you to find a different VOIP service provider. 1-Voip is a very small company and their technical expertise appears limited in that, when trying to install and set up Grandstream, their knowledge only goes so far. My experience with 1-Voip included conflicting instructions with Grandstream depending on which person I spoke with in Tech Support or in the Service Desk.

Power hungry
This app, while in the background, absorbs a huge amount of phone battery. It would seem that the point of it is mostly to be ready for incoming calls, etc. What good is it if there is no battery left to do all the work? If it’s power usage makes it so you don’t have it running in the background, how do you get your calls or messages? Makes it kind of useless, doesn’t it?
There are many apps that do similar work but do not have this problem. How about a nice big update where the power drain is fixed?

Useless on iOS
The concept of your product sounded life-changing, but the app on my iPhone is useless. It does not run all the time and even if I keep it open it shuts down after a few seconds.
Now, I’m not a teenager trying to run a social media app all day, I’m a profesional and having access to my phone is essential. You sold my company a product that sounded life changing, but it turned out to be a strategy to sell it. We do not have what we buy it for.

Constant Freezing
I have experienced this several times. I’ll be using the app, leave it open in the background while using another app, and suddenly my phone overheats or freezes. Is there a fix for this? I’m constantly having to force restart my phone when this happens

Battery hog
Two major problems one is battery consumption is very high my phone dies before lunch With the app open and will make it through dinner time with the app closed. Also no push Also looses the connection and the dot turns red when I go from WiFi to cell data or the same going from cell data to WiFi it will loose the connection
