Can’t decide if it’s fun
updating my review - now have a better grasp on the game. can’t really decide if its fun or not. the format is kind of over complicated and not that straightforward. i kind of wish it was more of a weekly pick em format. the contracts feature just doesnt do much for me. there’s also a lot of info that’s not explained i haven’t figured out yet. random graphics and numbers around the app and idk what they mean. also can’t see how many people are in my league so my rank is meaningless

Coolest Game Rules in Fantasy Motor Racing
I absolutely love playing this fantasy game each F1 season! I'm in a league of friends that is hotly contested every year. The game play and scoring rules make watching Formula One sooooooo much more fun than without it. Because you can score huge and do really well by picking the right driver's in the mid-field at the right time, when they are looking like they are peaking. F1 without GridRival is basically just watching Lewis Hamilton win, which don't get me wrong, big Lewis fan, but wow it's so fun to score huge on your fantasy Team with guys like Sergio Perez on a hot week!! Keep it up GridRival!

Love GridRival!
I LOVE THIS APP! Clearly made by race fans for race fans! GridRival is perfect for the casual fan or the hardcore fan. I didn’t really follow Formula 1 or Moto GP, but wanted something entertaining to do during this pandemic and GridRival didn’t disappoint. They make it easy to understand how to play with their video tutorials and even easier to set your lineup. They’ve taken great steps to provide exceptional stats that make picking your team fast and simple! Plus, there are plenty of public leagues for people who don’t want to create their own league! Highly recommend this outstanding app!

Good App Fantastic Support
User interface is far superior to similar fantasy apps. Some improvements would take it to another level, but according to their support team, improvements are in the works.
The game itself is very fun. The structure and pricing seem fair and includes means to force real strategy beyond getting lucky with a good team early in the season.
Lastly, their support team is fantastic. I received emails back within minutes when suggesting improvements.

Sort of pointless
At first glance the concept seemed great but it’s very difficult to quickly understand the points structure and the data behind how you make your choices. There seemed to be a weighted advantage week over week for the person in front which makes it nearly impossible for the underdog to make a comeback. Ideally there could be more of a snake style pickup each week which gives the lowest rank person the advantage to pick a higher value driver or team. Since they haven’t figured out a way to make the competition more fun week over week, I’m probably going to pass playing again!

Like the game but crashes every race morning
This is my second season playing grid rivals f1 fantasy and I like the rules more than the f1 branded fantasy. But this app cannot handle the load it gets on qualifying morning right before the deadline of submitting teams. It’s really frustrating to not be able to make team changes or even view your team right before. This is a deal breaker for me and we might have to go back to the other f1 fantasy app.

GridRival Debut 2021! Let’s go!
My league is super excited to debut our F1 fantasy experience with GridRival. The app is really user friendly, engaging, and interactive. I appreciate all the tutorials available in the app and the chat feature built into it. The display of critical statistics found in multiple places are also really helpful when deciding your next move!
Doesn’t matter if Ferrari bombs this season, I’m sure to come out on top using GridRival.

Great customer service and response times
I recently had an issue with my account and I couldn’t log in. And as a competitive person, I wanted to make sure I got in before the line up was locked. The people at Support were quick to my inquiry and super helpful! They were aware of the time difference and accommodates for that. Thanks!!!

User Sign Up Experience is The Worst
1. the fields aren’t coded properly to allow for auto populating information like name, email, address and phone number. so you gotta type it all in.
2. then you get to payment (have to type everything in again) but the worst is they don’t take mastercard which thry don’t tell you till after you put it in and submit, but then you basically have to take a guess at what credit card they accept i guess. why not just tell the user what cards you accept?

Why didn’t I know about this?
How did I not know about this fantasy app before now? Easy to understand with the tutorial videos and the concept of how points work is really clever. It’s simple enough that the casual fan can use it and yet complex enough to keep a veteran fan or fantasy fan at least interested and challenged.
