Easy to be disappointed if you don't have patience to learn
This is not an easy game. I've driven SCCA on Laguna Seca many times so I know the track in real life racing. At first I could barely make it around at all till I realized that the game was modeling rear wheel spin when I hit the gas to early. I also had to learn that to apply power slowly required tapping on the gas since we don't have pressure sensitive control. I've only played a little but I am testing if the game models aero well. I've not driven the real class of car that the Bentley is but I'm told that if you hit 6 at over 150 in an aero car it sticks. Under 150 it will not until you get down to where mechanical grip will hold it. None of the opponent cars are going through at 150 but I think I have once or twice. It's hard to time where you don't hit one of the guys who are way too slow around that corner. So as you can tell this game requires a lot of thought and finesse. By the way every car reacts differently so you have to learn what works with each one

Good Graphics, Okay Gameplay
The game has great graphics and a good selection of licensed cars (which I will only play games with licensed vehicles) but the driving could be better. The first person view is great, but when driving, you have to turn way too early and brake way too early otherwise you hit the wall. I feel like the game makes it harder and less realistic when turning and braking. I hit the wall ALL the time, and it’s not because I’m bad at the game, it’s that the game is TOO sensitive! I also have upgraded an Alfa Romeo Mito and the game said it was green, (which means your car is upgraded sufficiently to be competitive in that race) yet I got passed up like I was sitting still! The game also slows you down WAY TOO MUCH when you hit something. The last thing is something that I absolutely HATE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a feature so that you can sell one of your cars and make a little bit of money off of it. (Not as much as we paid for it so that way the car goes down in value and people can’t buy a car and then sell it and not lose any money for it.) Also, there used to be a Tesla Model S in this game, but I don’t see it ANYWHERE in the car shopping area. I remember it used to be there, but now there’s nothing that says Tesla as a car brand ANYWHERE. Thanks!

Self-explanatory. This is the real car experience.
Evidently, from my last racing experience in this game, Gameloft has clearly addressed the crashing issues and not Gt racing 2 works phenomenally, especially offline where it won’t lag while maintaining an internet connection. Then again, this is a Gameloft racing app so you already know they’ll nail the detail. Braking assist and steering assist are surprisingly accurate and very realistic in the performance aspect; The cars even veer like the actual models, suspension and all and I’ve honestly never seen a game portray the physics as accurately when it comes to the turns. You gun the throttle on any sharp turn in this game and the vehicle skids violently just like irl which is a factor not many othe games include. Summarizing the game itself, there are hardly any problems and All I will say is just play the game. The realistic driving sensation of gt racing 2 is unbelievable.

App is finally back???!!!!
I played this app and loved it over 8 months ago. I had all my favorite cars, lots of achievements, etc. until the app got removed off the App Store! I had to delete the app off my iPad because it took up too much storage and it didn’t even work as it said it was removed off the store.
For months after that I tried finding new racing apps but never really FOUND one that I liked as much as I used to like this app, GT racing 2. But just yesterday I was checking it out online and found that people other than me also had problems with it being removed. Today I was looking and clicked the app and it came up on the App Store! I saw that they just had a new update yesterday. I really hope it stays this time! I missed playing this game so much! Now I’m playing on my iPhone and even though I needed to start over, it’s still fun!
For months after that I tried finding new racing apps but never really FOUND one that I liked as much as I used to like this app, GT racing 2. But just yesterday I was checking it out online and found that people other than me also had problems with it being removed. Today I was looking and clicked the app and it came up on the App Store! A real life racer and winner
To bill pennock on my friend iPad . So let me introduce myself I am Jimmy Johnson . I read your review to find that u sound like u now what u talking about trust my you know nothing I have done better than 150. Here try this 185 for a change so I say to you get a life as racing is not as easy as everyone thinks but u can pull off things that was sought to be impossible I pulled off a stunt that could had killed me try an take a 90 degree angle while drifting at 264 mph so as bad as it make me feel to say this you know nothing's. Oh p.s this game is fun but need more realistic realism thanks sincerely JimmyJohnson

This game is great as far as the graphics go, but it is very repetitive and gets boring. The game is very easy to play once you get the hang of it and memorize the tracks. Been playing for over 3 years and have all cars. Don't play as much any more because of the ads and game crashes, but still enjoy the occasional race. Gameloft engineers stopped supporting this game just over a year ago, so the same bugs that have plagued this game for years will continue to be issues. My wife has been playing for as long as I have and has all cars except for the Savage Winter, which is not a purchase car, so I guess she will never get to finish the game 100% like I have. Get rid of the ads and offer ALL cars fir sale when you say you are during the holidays. Don't leave one car out there saying Win this car! Stay tuned. My wife has stayed tuned for years.

Repetitious
Good graphics, nice selection of cars, tracks are really repetitious and the actual game play needs work. (Handling, braking etc..) it practically impossible to play with out the controller assistants on. Also there are things quirks in the game that are reminiscent of old sega/Nintendo games. For instance if you bump/pick or try to physically block another car they instantly/magically somehow overpower you instead and turbo off into the distance.. BS! And you can tell it's been programmed to have the opposing cars in the lead slow down and or mess up near the end of most races after they've been leading the whole time just to let you win. I guess what I'm saying is it's lacking some little things that would make the game more realistic and entertaining. Also it would be better if you could customize the cars.

Great game but overall a mixed bag.
The graphics are best of all racing games! The cars are extremely close to the real thing. I was surprised the Pontiac G8 in the game has an identical interior to the one my dad owns. What I don't like? You can't smash the heck out of other cars like in Asphalt 8. If you hit a car in front of you your car slows down drastically. To make it even worse, the competition is directly on the racing line. So to help you win races the other cars go easy on you during the last 75% of the race. The worst part is that I'm always hitting the walls on tight turns. Please fix this, make the AIs drive more like actual humans, and make the game dynamics so I can smash the heck out of the competition like Asphalt 8 and I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

It is a pretty awesome car game, But it does take a lot of patience, and it a challenging car racing game, So unless you don't have patience & you don't like challenging games I suggest to you to not download this car racing game, This game takes a lot and I mean a lot of time, patience & practice in order to better yourself at this car racing game, FYI ... Your cellphone is your steering wheel, You don't understand now, But once you download this car racing game you will understand that you are the steering wheel and you need to move w/ the track, another FYI keep hands on both sides of your cellphone for the gazillette time you & your cellphone are the steering wheel.

Software does not Really Adjust when you upgrade Functions!
I have played this game for many months and about 3 months ago the software has not recognized that I have completely upgraded ALL features Like Handling/Control on most or the cars to their maximum ability.
While you win points and buy upgrades to allow you to race better this has totally changed so what previously allowed me to Constantly Win or do better changed so All cars are so poorly controllable I quit playing.
As for you the user really controlling anything I noticed that you really can not properly control acceleration but the game does consistently in the same locations of the game thus making it less enjoyable knowing you really have minimal impact to the events going on.
While you win points and buy upgrades to allow you to race better this has totally changed so what previously allowed me to Constantly Win or do better changed so All cars are so poorly controllable I quit playing.
