Finally got stuck at level Lost-16
This is a great game. I'm not too wild about the aspect of beating a specific time goal (in this or other games), but fortunately as the levels progressed it seemed to become less of a chore. You don't actually have to beat the time goal to progress, but for some reason I felt compelled to do it. :-)
The game does a good job of introducing new gameplay mechanics as you progress in the game to provide some variety, which I appreciated.
I almost made it through all the levels, but I finally got stuck on level Lost-16 (from the Bonus Levels 1, Lost Levels set). I guess I probably must be missing the solution, but is it really possible to complete this level with only two barrels and no gunpowder?

Super impressed!
The attention to detail in Gunpowder is exceptional! There's something very satisfying about figuring out a puzzle and watching the destruction unfold, with loot flying upwards and anything within range being blasted to smithereens. It's always different and I have yet to see the same explosion twice! The sound is always appropriate to the action (for instance a windmill becomes collateral damage and you hear the wood frame coming down). Very well done. Puzzles are varied and it keeps things interesting. Gunpowder has the best of both worlds - a stunning game that's a real joy to play. Not to be missed!

Stellar in every aspect
If you enjoy puzzle games, Gunpowder is a must play. Fiendishly clever puzzles coupled with a delightful presentation makes this one easy to recommend to anybody, not just puzzle aficionados. Tons of levels, yet there's variety and the developers have done a tremendous job of balancing out the gameplay so the difficulty curve sits just right. This game keeps me coming back for more and makes me smile every time.

Can you please fix the screen lock?
The screen in landscape mode now forces you to play with the headphone jack on your right (all other games default to it being on the left, and they give you a choice if you rotate your iPad/iPod)...thanks for the surprisingly-awesome update, but can you please fix it so we can rotate the screen so the games picture shows how we want it to?

Fantastic start to finish
Wow! What a wonderful surprise. This game was a joy to play from beginning to end. The puzzles were fresh and always just challenging enough to be a *blast* to play and never frustrating. Truly one of the best iOS games I've played in a long time. I can't believe I'd never heard of it before. Would love to see a sequel!

A lot of fun except for the timer
This app is very fun and enjoyable until book two when success or failure becomes dictated by the timer. There should be an option to set things up before the episode starts moving. I deleted the app. There is no way I can handle that insane timing, and even if there were, I wouldn't enjoy it. I am looking for a challenge, not a heart attack.

Great concept, weak execution
Good graphics and a fun premise (blowing stuff up) could have made this a great game, however the gameplay is infuriating. If you can't blow everything up and want to try again your only option is to restart the level versus fix your original placement. Secondly your finger obscures where you want to place the barrels which makes the first problem more aggravating. Fix these problems and you could have a winner.

Excellent Puzzler!
I was shocked how great the graphics were right off the bat. Then I was blown away how great the storyline is. Some real artistry went into this game design. Makes it a real joy to play. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this and will pass on the link to friends. I'm always pleased to trip over a new game like this that turns out to be a gem.

This game has been a favorite of mine for the past couple months. Clever puzzles make some of the levels challenging but always fair and rewarding. It's a really addictive and fun game. My only problem is I've finished it and want more.

Love the cartoons & comics from my childhood!
This game has the best graphics & so much fun to "stick-it-to-the-man!" Reminds me of the cartoons & comic books from my earliest childhood memories in front of our black-in-white t.v. Which back then, homes only had 1 t.v. in the living room! Great Job Creators!!!
