Single Player is super easy as the B-52s won’t shoot you down often and fighters won’t bother you, but you are always outnumbered in multiplayer making survival difficult. You can’t die on the ground, so that’s good, but you will always be the sole protector of the runway. In 1960 Strategic Air Command switches from high altitude to low altitude attacks solely because the Sa-2 was so dangerous. In this game, set barely a few years later, you can ignore them because they can’t hit anything at all. You can actively try to get hit by them and they will still miss. If the devs increased Sam site ability you could take off from the runway in peace and have fun flying in more fair situations, bombing would get harder too, making you have to choose between the SAMs at high altitude and the guns at low altitude. Furthermore you could add a SEAD expansion that would allow you to use missiles designed to kill Sams! The Sa-2 Sam was very dangerous during the Vietnam War, but is too weak in this game, and has no business being so weak.
