GWCAMVIEW Hack 1.0.6 + Redeem Codes

I have been using this app for awhile and it is very fast to render the video unlike several other surveillance camera apps that I use. I would really like the PTZ to be a little less confusing and would strongly like the PTZ camera to have a “home” position on power up. Every time I take a power hit, it is pointing down so the motion alert feature is rendered useless. All in all, this is a good app for remotely watching the live view. Still a little difficult to use it for effective video playback.

I’ve been using this app for quite a few years, lately it started giving a lot of problems. When I need to see my cameras I get blank screen, when I go to device management, I get error connecting.I have to remove device, set it up with the IP address. It works one or two times, then error again, then I delete the device, and set it up again with the barcode. And that goes over and over and over again every day. No I have to device is set up, one with IP address, the other one set up from the barcode. Sometimes one or the other kicks in. I understand that this is a very messy set up but this is the only way this thing works

This is a pretty decent remote viewer app for my GW camera system. But the major improvement I’d like to see is the ability to fine tune notifications, so I can a notification for motion detection, but turn off notifications for loss of signal which is constantly happening when using WiFi cameras. As it is, if I leave notifications turned on, I get dozens of them for loss of signal, instead of the two or three I actually want for motion detected. So I just turn notifications off, which isn’t helpful.

GW customer service and camera system are good but the app needs a lot of improvements. It has trouble connecting sometimes and will not load the image without going to another camera view and back to the one that wouldn’t load. Needs motion push notifications. Motion notification is a must for any surveillance system and not by email. It needs more ways to view multiple cameras. The app needs to be fixed. It doesn’t not represent GW very well. I was pleased with my system and service until I started using the app. I am now looking at other systems with a better app and plan to switch if the app does not improve in the next few months.

In the past month we have been having issues getting notifications. Lots more problems than ever before. Several had to delete the app and reinstall to get theirs working. Been really hit or miss. Several have had a problem when updating apps the notification settings have changed. Not very pleased with the service lately.

One of the best out of box camera systems out there. Would recommend this system to anyone . My only issue is the app it needs to be able to refresh when you go back into it . So far I have had to quit the app to get the cameras back . Not a deal breaker but a slight annoyance.

Can’t even download the app on my tablet. My tablet broke and my replacement didn’t have of old apps and did not have it backed up. Tried to download the GWCAMVIEW and it says it’s not compatible with my tablet. How can you update your entire platform and not make it compatible with all screen sizes and types. I checked my cameras primarily on my tablet and now I must only use my phone. Plus it will often not connect with NVR as well. Super disappointed with the functionality. I like the new look and when it connects it seems to work better than the old app but still overall poor.

I have a 4K GW Security system for my business and my home. It is so easy to install and use. The cameras are powered by Ethernet cable and you pug one end in you camera and the other end in your system. Once you mount your cameras all you have to do is use your smart phone to watch. Very satisfied!

Have my GW Security system set up and can see all cameras. There is a delay but not long - few seconds. My cameras are POE and wifi. Have accessed the cameras from several miles and out of the country from my network without any issues. The technical staff is very knowledgeable of their products and extremely helpful.

The old version worked fine for me. I was used to it’s kinks. The new version has a lot of new features, which is a plus, but now you get less space on the camera view. There’s half a screen for the camera view with a lot of dead white space at the bottom, & it’s constantly having issues with playback. It’s frustrating.
Please, keep the new features of being able to access and change things remotely with the nvr, but design something that works so you can easily view your cams and play them back.
