Take out the frame and fix these bugs
I was really into a more intimate LGBT game when GYEE came out but after getting super busy at work I hadn’t logged on in nearly three months. Having to literally google how the game works and where to find certain items to improve your avatar and other GYEE is annoying but I put up with it. The game was interesting and a bit fun but after logging back in I had noticed that the two thirds of my screen had a frame around it whereas before it was full screen, please fix that issue. There are so many bugs with this game especially revolving around quests at times, I get that it’s a huge game and that developers are trying their hardest but come on my game has crashed so many times already. However I do love playing this game with it being so friendly to the LGBT community and sure a few different characters could be added but other than that I’m satisfied. One last thing; after an update has been completed I try logging in and it tells me that it has failed to connect and asks me to check NOTICE. Maybe I missed the memo but that feature doesn’t bring up any page(s) after tapping it so either there’s not a notice or it’s just another glitch.

Updates crash app
I would’ve given this 5-stars if it weren’t for the fact that every time an update has been put out for the last 2 months, the game crashes. At first the crashing was isolated to attempts to “visit Never Isle”. That was remedied by developers allowing access to certain events in the mass server from your home base. While others relied on timing but there was plenty to do in the game to up XP and gain/fulfill your passion rewards that didn’t solely hinge on visiting the mass server. All in all this is/*was* a great game until the crashing got to the point, that now I can’t even login without it crashing. And I had just purchased the builder and the event pass. Now I can’t even get into the game long enough to collect bonus rewards so I don’t loose them and in turn waste my money. I have offloaded the app to see if that would help but it didn’t. I’ve read on forums that this game has had a history of bad crashing before and it took months to fix. Their social media platforms are of no help in offering any solutions about finding ways to get around this. Again I would give this game a 5-star rating but the crashing is getting to a point of “unforgivable”. Hopefully this actually gets fixed. And soon.

Spoke too soon
Well I really like playing the game it’s great to finally have an lgbtq+ friendly game and that incorporates the same fantasy as popular anime but I was reading the reviews about the bugs and server crashing after updates and thought hmmm that hasn’t happened to me and it’s been updating at least once a week well I spoke too soon because this update it done today I waited and waited it took way longer then it usually does to update and when it finally finished and I tried to launch the game guess what server crash can’t play how irritating and I was trying to be optimistic with you guys well there goes that and also I don’t like the fact that you have to work so friggin hard to level up your intimacy level with your GYEE as if you’re not working hard enough to make your avatar stronger so you can even progress into the chapter what type of foolishness there are a lot of things that should be fixed in this game but overall it is a very fun very entertaining game and a big time killer the graphics are impressive even for an over seas game available in the US however the strategy and ways you can increase intimacy level with gyees could be better

Needs some bugs fixed
I love this game so much! It’s fun and has a great story line. I just have one problem with everything costing so much money. I’m okay with putting money into games you love, this one being one of them, which I have put a lot of money into this one, but my only concern is that there are some bugs that need to be fixed. Considering that getting one of the gyee’s ultra rare skin will cost you around $100 I would hope you get your money’s worth. They recently released a new skin for a character Raikoh that I was hoping to get so I went into the store to buy his skin even though it will cost a pretty penny but I accidentally bought radian’s rainbow skin thinking it was raikohs! Considering that I already have this skin I would hope that it would just let you waste your money on getting tickets for something you already have and you can’t get a refund back or sell them back. I just want to be able to get this character’s skin, Raikoh’s, or at least get the 3,000 WD I spent on it. This game doesn’t even have a good place to message for any user discrepancies it’s all automated stuff that doesn’t help for specific problems.

Has potential - needs improvement
I’ve played my fair share of gacha games & thought I was done with them, but then I heard about GYEE - an LGBT themed anime fantasy - and had to give it a shot.
I’ve never played a game that leans so openly into queerness, and you can tell a lot was put into this game art & character design-wise. Mechanically things are pretty messy though.
The UI is congested and confusing, the translation needs refinement (it’s difficult to tell exactly what most characters are saying due to poor grammar, which hinders both the story & gameplay explanations), and its pretty buggy.
The combat is turn-based (think older Final Fantasy titles), though I can’t tell whether there’s an auto battle feature or not (update: there is, you just have to unlock it during the story mode). The gacha elements are in the form of characters, with the booby prizes being enhancement pieces (though I haven’t figured out how to use these yet).
I’m hoping the mechanical issues are fixed, because the game has a lot of potential. I’m still testing this out, and ultimately wish this was a full paid game instead of a freemium gacha game, but I’ll play this until it feels like I’ve gone as far as I can go without either paying up or grinding like crazy.

I like this game, GYEE, a lot. It’s fun, challenging, and satisfying. However, it is far from Free-to-Play (F2P)-friendly. In fact, if you really want to enjoy the game, you’ll have no trouble spending money here.
You can try a combination of spending here and saving there. But even when you think you’ve picked something you want to purchase with the money-bought currency (White Dragonshards), the Gacha nature of the game can leave you with something you have already purchased.
Unlike some Gacha games, there is no way to trade the repeated/unneeded item, You just spent real money on. Yes, I’m sure it’s written somewhere in the User Agreement that can happen, but it happens way too often.

HAS MAJOR POTENTIAL | Fix the user experience
Major Improvements Needed. Fix all the bugs and glitches. I expect a major update soon :)
I’ve been playing this game for awhile. It has major potential (great graphics, unique story, character development is good, depth) to compete with some of the best games especially for the unique storyline and the different audiences (queer friendly) it can serve. First of its kind I’ve seen on the app.
HOWEVER, this game feel like it was released too early and I wouldn’t recommend playing it until it’s done with being it early beta stages if not omega. Several things need to be completed before I can give it more stars too.
The developers need to listen to their audience and make adjustments. I’m surprised the developers don’t have a more in-touch conversation with people who are leaving reviews.
This game should not be focused on expanding or adding new content, but rather focus on cleaning up the user experience. The amount of bugs and glitches is astronomical.
Once the game is actually running smoothly there is so much expansion that can happen with new character and bosses. There’s a lot of land related Gyee, but aquatic ones like squids, mermaid, and serpents would be great addition to this boy fantasy game.
I will continue to add more points as I go, but I don’t want it to be lost in translation that this game has a lot of potential, but needs help with cleaning up all the problematic touch points within the game.

The other big issue is how dense the game is. Most games roll out methods of improving your characters as you level up. This allows you to expand your characters abilities as your skill grows. With GYEE all character enhancements are available from the start.
Additionally, it’s not clear when or why to use all of the enhancements. Should you focus on getting crystals, or tokens from nexus events, or image shards, or or weapon ‘enhancements’ (a screen separate from the other things that also enhance your weapons) or maybe none of that and use the steam room to collect skills from other GYEE, or maybe build intimacy. If you think that’s a lot, your main avatar also has several additional ways to level up.
Then there’s many types of in game currency that is needlessly over done (gold, white shards, black shards, crystals, the endless different types of tickets that have to be purchased and then redeemed for normal items).

I really like this game.
This game is a tad buggy and a tad slow, but I don’t really mind, it has a fun queer take on that rpg style. I love the customization, I wish there where more outfits and more customization options for skins in gameplay and for your butler. But this is a fun little game if you like grinding for stuff and watching numbers go up like I do.
The devs are very responsive and will totally help if there are any issues with losing things. And you can tell they actually want a cool game with little stories to keep you wanting more. The sometimes broken English is so endearing to me!!! It feels like a labor of love and wanting a wider audience, not a cheep ad filled cash grab like most games in 2022

It’s ok sorta
I mean I love the concept of a more lgbtq+ friendly game but there are some bugs and also game is very confusing. He tutorial isn’t helpful as to how you power up your GYEE. What are enchantments and how they affect your GYEE. I also rated it one star lower cause if there is a certain GYEE you want chances of you getting them is less than 3%. I’ve spent money and unlocked many times only to keep getting same GYEE. Like even if youve unlocked them you will keep getting same one over and over even though there are so many GYEE you will keep getting mercy I got her 5 times, osmond 3 times, Eddie 2 times, yaen 2 times, billy 3 times, and hart 2 times. I mean like cmon are you guys foreal? There are over and I mean over like almost 30 GYEE and to keep getting same one over and over? That is just disheartening cause getting 10 black cubes to unlock them is not cheap.
