Good but there is a problem I have
Don’t get the wrong idea. I absolutely love the game and it is quite terrific in everything about it. But sometimes it can be extremely frustrating. At one point in the game where you are asked to lower someone’s income, I wasn’t able to edit the salary. It kept saying that it wasn’t valid so I did the balance command but those numbers that I got from executing that command only made me more confused.
I was so frustrated because no matter what number I typed in, it said it wasn’t valid. Regardless this is an amazing game that I can tell had A LOT of effort and work put into it and that’s why I still gave it five stars. Though the part that I’m getting stuck on is ruining my experience because it seems so difficult, so at least give me a response on the matter (I’m talking to you developers).

It’s definitely good
It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for when I was looking for a “hacking” game that was essentially a legal in-depth simulation, but it was probably the closest thing I could find, it really does give kind of a hacking feel, and I appreciate the subtleties and nuances with how it looks on the iPhone X and even the fact they politely ask for a donation, it’s not needed but it’s appreciated, and I respect that. It’s good to see people not try to just trick people or force people into paying for an interesting and quality game simulation, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a “hacking” game, though not specifically what I wanted (more of a Welcome to the Game kind of feel) it’s an excellent substitute and I commend the developer for their time and work, I hope this was helpful

It’s a very simple yet clever game and the developer is giving it to you for free! You can decide to donate however much money as you please, and even if you can’t it’s encouraged to write a review, and rightfully so!!! This game is beautifully designed and, at no point during the experience are there pop up adds that may disrupt the gameplay!!!! The storyline and text are seamless and at no point does it feel rushed or repetitive, honestly I can’t believe this game isn’t more popular, with everything it provides you’d think it’d have more reviews but I digress.
All in all 5 stars all around⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!

Fantastic use of my time haha
This app is 100% worthy of costing 20$
Yet this developer is so generous as to give it away free and let you decide what to donate to him. First of all that is one if the most considerate and selfless acts I have ever come across. He spent his personal free time to create this app which is completely enveloping me and never gets old
The story line is super entertaining and honestly I love the practice with just moving through a command line with codes
It is the perfect difficulty and is not dependent on if you are a noob to coding or long time veteran which is also ingenious
I am being wholly frank when I say that this is the only iphone game or app that I can simply not put down, I am enjoying every second and Ive never wanted to continue playing a game so incessantly like this in my life

Quick and amusing
Overall a great game, it looks like a terminal and acts like one. I know this is being picky, but having more UNIX commands would have been nice to be able to use just because I know them already. Only dropped the one star because I think there’s a lot of potential for it to get even better. The choice you can make towards the middle of the game doesn’t actually affect much, just one mission. It would have been cool to see that fleshed out and lead down totally different paths. It took about an hour to get through the first play through, and about 20 minutes to do the second, so it’s a really easy way to kill some time.

Can’t find a password
Everything is really great and I really like playing but the problem is that I can not seem to find the password for Hugo’s computer and if have gone through all of my stuff and I even looked in the passwords file and it was not there so I can not get past that part. Other then that I really love ❤️ the game.

So I kept playing the game and randomly guessing passwords and I finally got it and now I LOVE THIS APP SO MUCH because if you do not have money to spend on games like me you can just choose the 0$ button and I think that is so great I have no words for this game this is the most awesome game ever

Immediately hooked
The story was so compelling with the simulation that you are actually a hacker. It's interesting to learn all of the different commands as you help others with their tasks from girlfriends to companies. Spicing things up with new commands on the way and mini games to break through firewall. Once I started this game I couldn't put it down. Played right through wanting it to continue. Hackers quest was truly an exciting experience that deserves full attention from the public. Try it and once you start you just can't put it down! Loved everything about it!

It's alright.
It's great. Don't get me wrong. If you're looking for the hacker feel in the form of a simple game you got it. Good atmosphere with the font, color, and presentation. Decent writing with basic progression. And slight elements of realism with (some) actual commands you would input into a basic prompt. You really do feel like a hacker. 'Feel' however is the key word. What I was hoping for, and have been looking for, was an actual hacking app that wouldn't actually hack. In other words a trainer app with real commands, real prompts, but without the real consequences of it being illegal as you wouldn't be physically hacking into anything. So if you're looking for that you're out of luck. But nonetheless it's definitely the best hacker themed game on the AppStore.

One of the better
The actual skill of hacking, while fun and empowering, involves a crap ton of technical knowledge, troubleshooting tools, digital reconnaissance, and tearing through data. This game is pretty well designed and I really like both the story line and primary use of CLI. The only reason it lost a star was due to an issue I do have about the basis of the game. I'd prefer if the game somehow reinforced the principles of penetration testing, where vulnerabilities are looked for, exploits are found and used, and then persistence is placed or reconnaissance is conducted on the new machine. The game has such a sandboxed feel to it, where as an open environment type of play would get 5 stars from me.

Nice time killer, thought the typos are killing me. Some of the writing could be beefed up with some purposeful typos and the rest in proper grammar/spelling. Hackers can’t afford to misspell anything...one wrong keystroke and all your work goes down the toilet. Also, would love for it to be a bit more ‘choose your own adventure’. Not loving the choice to stalk my friend’s ex or help a disgruntled employee hurt his coworkers...either I’m a criminal or a vigilante...not loving the in between vagueness. These other characters are good enough to give me advice on how to do things or catch me, but can’t do the work themselves? I’m either a terrible hacker or I’m dumb. This is a great first pass, I look forward to later updates and seeing the game grow.
