Unfortunately, this game could not be found on the App Store due to a glitch. You may only find it on the Elephant website. The storyline was once again about saving souls (don’t we have enough of that from Domini?), albeit in a more original manner. The general gameplay was fast-paced and entertaining, if somewhat spooky. Well, it was a Halloween game, which was released a bit late! Lots of bats and some rats thrown in for good measure. There was a decent variety of both HO scenes and mini-games. I was quite annoyed at not being able to play the mini-game in which you must highlight different symbols to defeat Theresa. The game simply did not work, due to a marked lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface. Elephant had better take note of this issue because we want a flawless Christmas game! Remember, if a game is difficult to manipulate, the players won’t buy it and you will lose revenue.
I deducted a star due to the lack of touchscreen sensitivity as well as for length. This game was extremely brief, inclusive of the bonus adventure. In addition, there was no real secret room where you find morphing objects. It was merely another chance to spot collectibles that you might have missed.
Still and all, it was a game worth playing. It was interactive, and the gamer played from the vantage point of a mystic detective, so if you enjoy magic and casting spells you will be enthralled by the game.
Happy holidays, everyone!
