Ham Radio Prep Hack 3.1.2 + Redeem Codes

This app has been excellent, at least until recently. They made some major back end changes that affected the way progress was calculated, which reset all of my progress. It is unfortunate, but it seems as if it will be a good adjustment for their customers, overall (they are very professional and responsive from their support teams). It won't affect anyone that subscribes and starts after they made the changes, but for someone like me that was over 51% of my way through, I have to start over if I want to show it at 100% (which I will probably finish anyway). I used this and the Ham Study app, and I already passed and received my Technician's License exam, but I had wanted to finish it, for purposes of the satisfaction of the visual indicator of the hard work and study I put in. I emailed support and was assured it was a benefit, over the long haul. They also gave me a 10% off coupon for something on their website, which I'm eyeballing. Hopefully I can catch myself up to where I want to be, but I do have my Technician's license already, so maybe I'll just skip onto the General now and review the Technician's material later. Thanks to Ham Radio Prep for being so professional and responsive. Not including a few pieces of feedback I offered, I adjusted my rating to 5 stars. They were incredibly empathetic to my frustrations and top notch for receiving my feedback.

I started using Ham Radio Prep back in June or July of 2022. I have always been an active listener of Nets and Hams via Scanners and had always wanted to get licensed and get on the air. I've used 2 way and CBs and Shortwave Equipment since I was a kid. So I started studying. The app made it easy. In Sept 2022 I passed my Tech license. Studied a bit more and got my General upgrade in October. I had initially planned to go all the way by the end of 22 but life and holidays got in the way, but I kept studying. Finally here in March 2023 I walked into my test with confidence and passed my extra with a 90%. I owe it all to all their books and the video courses. If you want to get your license and pass this program is it. You will pass and get on the air with HRP. 73s to you all, and Good Luck! Maybe I'll hear you on the air soon!

The App is a great memorization tool. I do not like the FCC’s regulation. Veterans need to be recertified to transmit on any frequency. When you already have the training needing this app in an annoyance. The app is great and has connections to the FCC; however, they do not proctor online examinations. The app also did not connect to the purchased content and videos I paid for. If I pass my test this app is great. I think the FCC needs to allow at least the technician course to be completed online. I learned that radio’s can be used to position interference. I am sure it can find a radio user that has been transmitting improperly/illegally. The app gave free access to the quiz portions and exams. Each give you multiple attempts and change answers that encourage learned material.

The other HAM exam prep resources I’ve tried were all deadly boring, confusing recitations of exam questions with insufficient context to make learning the material easy. This one is different! The video lessons are worth the reasonable fee; they have high production value and provide just enough context to support learning the material efficiently, while remaining blessedly short. The practice tests are randomized and divided by section so you can repeat just the sections you need to, and see different questions each time. When you’re ready, you can start taking randomized complete exams, and continue to drill until time for the exam. Don’t bother looking for another HAM test prep program… this one is great!

The app is solid, the interface is good looking, the instant explain is also nice. It definitely helps you pass the test(s) I was able to pass tech with ease and taking on General and likely Extra using it now. What I did find was that the chapter section has the same limited pool of questions that the quest/test section does not always have. So you have to use both if you want to pass. Suggestion is to have the Dev add in the portal to pull all the section questions. I have ran though each section over 50 times and taken well over 50 test/quizzes. I was using a site at the same time and that is when I noticed it wasn’t pulling all of the questions. But overall it WILL get you Tech I can vouch for that.

When I decided I wanted to achieve my Technician license, I was guilty of trying to make use of the free information available out there (I’m sure many other did too). However, you soon realize that while there is a lot out there for free, its not easy to consume it in an efficient and systematic way.
Ham Radio prep does just that! Jim Reed (my instructor) makes it very easy to follow by giving you what you need to know without a bunch of extraneous information (it’s assumed you’ll enrich your knowledge once you get your license and get going).
I take my test in a few days and I feel ready as I am consistently scoring 80-85% on my practice tests. Thank you to the folks at Ham Radio Prep! 😊

I started studying for the technician license one week ago. I didn’t take a formal class, Just skimmed through the book to learn the concepts and used this app.
I went thru each lessons in the app until I scored at least an 85% And then I kept taking practice exams until I was confident about my results.
One week later I took the exam and scored a 100. Next highest score in the class was an 82.5% and I was the only one that didn’t take a formal class.
I don’t think I would’ve done as well without this app. Thank you

I have given the Ham Radio Prep app a five star rating because they have exceeded my expectations. They made learning fun and focused on the important lessons needed to pass my first FCC technician license test.

This program provides text and video instructions with quizzes to sharpen my skills and showed me where I needed more study. The text provides important principles which are highlighted in blue. These highlights are answers directly from the test. The instructor is easy to understand, and the visuals on the screen help me to burn those concepts into my memory.

The quizzes give an instant response to help speed up the process of learning.

There is a new feature for missed questions. I found this helpful for troublesome questions that needed extra attention.

This program is a timesaver. The app was easy to navigate.

My money was well spent using the Ham Radio Prep app. I highly recommend it.

I’m studying to take my Technician Level test, and in just two days of using the app and website I’m repeatedly passing the practice exams with scores in the high 80’s and 90’s. I had no prior knowledge of this material, and I’m shocked at how well the design and content prepare you for the test. Be sure to go through each chapter to gain the knowledge necessary, and retake the chapter review quizzes several times each to see the different question sets and variations. I definitely recommend using this app.

Well structured high quality lessons. Covers the test very well. You can take as many practice tests as you like. I watched all the videos and practice tests at the end of each lesson. Then ran through the practice tests until my score was over 90%. Passed the technician test and only missed one question. The one I missed was my mistake it was something that was covered.
