Happy Elephant Stickers Hack 3.9 + Redeem Codes

AppStore reviewer EvilnSyde asked 3 years ago for me to make a World Elephant Day sticker. I don't know what happened between when he asked and later that made me sidetracked. Oops! So - better late than never! August 12 has been designated as World Elephant Day to celebrate these amazing creatures and to help end the trade of ivory.

And remember the WWII graffiti "Killroy was here" ? Well, I made an elephant version, Elroy was here. :) The British referred to Killroy as Chad and the Aussies as Foo - but I now present you with Elroy. :)

Meredith Miller's sister sent me a message on Facebook using her sister's account. I don't know your name, but your sister gets Elephant fame in your stead. :) She made some suggestions for new elephants... and they were good ones. :)

Per her suggestion, I've added a confused elephant, an elephant with an injury (in this case, an elephant with its front leg in a sling), an elephant reading a book, and an elephant reading to a younger elephant. And I threw in the toddler elephant by itself in there as well. :)

Oh - and I threw in a "Deal with it" elephant with the pixelated sunglasses - because all sticker packs need one of these, right?

I apologize for the long time without updates. Ever since they introduced the new Silicon Macs, I wasn't able to push updates to the App Store. An update required me to uncheck an obscure checkbox on a developer webpage in order for my updates not to throw errors from Xcode. Oops!

Got suggestions, go to the support page on Facebook, and send me a message. I love to hear from fans and to try to fulfill your requests as I can. You have no idea how fun it is to hear from each of you. Be sure to let me know where in the world you are. I have heard from fans in several countries. Also really cool. :) Even cooler, is a great review in the App Store in your own words. I cannot tell you how encouraging it is to find a new review. And I'll answer back. :)

Something new and tangible coming... I'm working on creating an enamel pin of one of the elephants and it will eventually be listed on Kickstarter to fund the manufacturing of it. This way you'll be able to share your love of these pachyderms with friends even when your battery dies. :)

Also - I'd love to localize the app for more languages. How would you like to help with the proper wording in languages such as Hebrew, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Japanese, and Hindi? I can't pay you, but I can give you credit in the app update notes and even include your likeness as a sticker in the sticker pack. :)

Added a "wut?" elephant, a surgeon, and a content elephant holding a spring daisy in its trunk. More coming. Enjoy. :)

The stickers I already had made looked really gnarly in dark mode. I fixed that! :) Added a Halloween elephant. Yeah - it's late, but it's early for 2021! Added a "whoa!" reaction elephant. It's funny - at least to me. :) Added an elephant holding a mustache on a stick.

Elephants fan, ダナ マツダ, requested a baby elephant saying 'hi,' and an elephant wearing 4-wheel inline skates. I tried, ダナ, but I'm not good with putting shoes on animals - in real life or in drawings! So - a compromise. I hope you like it! :) Canadian reviewer, critical reviewing, requested an elephant intensely playing a video game and saying "GG" for "good game." I made two versions. Sorry it took so long! I kept fixating on the elephant using his feet to hold the game controller. I should have known it would never work without thumbs. :) American reviewer, Loaded656, requested an elephant outside a window. Since the request stemmed from a morning greeting to her little girl, I added pink drapes. :) I made two versions - one with a picture window, the other with visible window panes. And... just in time for America's Independence Day, I've included 4 versions of a patriotic elephant. One without text, holding the American flag, another says "God bless America," another says "Happy 4th of July," and finally, "Happy Birthday America!"

Reviewer pressuremakesdymondz requested a yellow ribbon elephant for Sarcoma Cancer Awareness. Here it is! Reviewer Richpoko asked for an elephant riding a bike. This was a mind-bender. I tried and tried, but there is no way I could make such a dignified animal continue to look dignified, yet also adorable, while on a bicycle. So - a compromise. I hope you like it. :)

Reviewer badkitty_ suggested ordering the elephants more sensibly. I agreed - it was an issue I was concerned about as the pack has grown. My solution? Dividers. The dividers and blank spaces are actually stickers themselves - but just for spacing. The dividers and blank stickers might line up weird on an iPad in landscape view - not sure, since I don't own an iPad (there's one on my Amazon wishlist for any wealthy benefactors - lol). Solution? Hold your device vertically! lol.

Reviewer AppReApp wanted some more reactions: a good luck, a "you can do it," and a hug elephant. Boom. Here ya go. :)

Elephants fan C.A.M. requested an elephant sitting at a loom knitting. I tried. Looms are not my thing! lol - but - I do have an elephant knitting sans loom. Here ya go!

While playing around with my sketches, I came up with this reclining elephant and thought - what would this cute boy be saying? He looks like he's thinking of you - so there you go. :) Elephants fan Nikki N-T asked if there was any chance there would be an elephant in a pink tutu and ballet slippers. I made no promises, but did say I'd try. And try I did. I reiterate - I am not good with clothing on critters - with the exception of hats! HA! Ballet slippers are slender and delicate - and while elephants actually do walk on their toes when you look at their skeletons, their feet are big, flat and round on the outside. I could not come up with a dignified way to stretch those type of shoes on this creature... so a compromise. :) I hope the ensemble does not disappoint. Finally, my friend, Amy Johnson, suggested a clothespin on the trunk of an elephant as we commiserated on people who wear too much perfume.

I did my own take on that with a "what's cookin'" pachyderm. And finally, I am sadly late with a Passover elephant. I had made a Passover version of an octopus and rabbit for my other sticker packs and totally forgot I hadn't done it for the Elephants pack. So sorry. L'chaim, y'all. At least you'll have one for next pesach!

I had a request from reviewer Damagapple for a soccer (football everywhere other than the US!) elephant and a "GOAL!" elephant. And, reviewer csevengo requested an elephant using a DSLR camera. What elephants lack in opposable thumbs, they make up for with 40,000 muscles (one of the random factoids I remember from childhood) in their trunk... so call it cheating, but I've got the elephant using a trunk-activated cable shutter release. :)

App Store reviewer, Dabble B., requested an elephant in pajamas. My interpretation: pajama night cap... because there's just something wrong about an elephant wearing pants - LOL. I tried several times - and no rendition of the elephant in pajama bottoms looks kosher. Hence - pajama cap elephant. :) Enjoy

I've learned the hard way to prevent weird things happening with stickers, that I need to create a new Xcode project every single time I do an update to prevent weird bugs happening for some users... so this is part bug fix (brand new Xcode project - sticker pack built from the ground up - w/ all the previous stickers) + one new elephant. iTunes user Dog B suggested in a review that I make an elephant chillin' - drinking out of a coconut. I'm not sure if I met his expectation. :) If you have an idea for an elephant, please go to the support page on Facebook and post your suggestion so I can follow up with you. :) If I like your idea, I might sketch it and add it in the next update.

Added a baby elephant! Three new elephants - baby with no text, and an "it's a girl!" and "it's a boy!" versions of the baby. Enjoy!
