Many scoff at this game, giving it one star without a reason why. While clearly they are of the less intelligent variety of humans, as the deeper meaning of “Happy Zig Zag Block” eludes them.
While the average mobile video game player would simply write this off as a “bad” game, it is clear to some intellectuals, such as myself, that this is a hard look at the views of capitalism, humanism, and the human spirit as a whole. This game not only captures the struggles of average human life but as a comprehensive view of existence.
The symbolism is quite deep yet quite clear if you know what to look for. I, as a highly regarded member of psychiatry, encounter a large number of feelings and ideas that this game forms. I, however, have never been able to put these ideas as clearly as Igeho Ocomo, a clear genius in his own right, who has probably studied the arts of psychiatry and philosophy as extensively as have if not more so! However, for the less mentally inclined, I shall bestow the true meanings behind “Happy Zig Zag Block” in the next paragraph. I do however wish you would find the meaning yourself by downloading it.
“Happy Zig Zag Block” starts of simply, as does life! And just as life gives you no instruction what so ever, and allows you to explore and learn at your own pace. However, just like life, the controls vanish and you have to go on alone, like you moving on from your parents to control your own life. However if you mess up an ad will play, this is to describe capitalism and how it will pull you down to the abyss if you allow it. However, you will not be down there for eternity as when the ad ends you shall reappear at the top and rise above refusing to give up, such is the human spirit.
I cannot give the full extent of the deepness of this video game, however, this game is astounding and truly shows the video games deserve the label of art and of course gets a 5/5.
This concludes my comprehensive review.
