Description

Hebrew Nikud is a custom iOS keyboard that makes it easy to write Hebrew with vowel points - 'nikud' - using apps that support Hebrew language input, such as Pages, Keynote, Notes, Mail, Textilus, Captio, and many others.

Just tap the Nikud button, and a complete listing of all of the Hebrew vowel points appears on your keyboard. Tap the vowel character, and it instantly appears underneath, or above the letter. You can write one letter at a time, adding the vowel points after each letter, or write the entire document in unpointed Hebrew, and add the vowel points to each letter when you are done.

Davka Nikud supports all nikud characters as well as 'dagesh'.

Raty Raterson,
Please add 3D Touch
The app is decent, but we could type the nikkud much more quickly if we could hold down the consonant and have the nikkud options pop up instead of navigating back and forth back and forth for each letter typed. For $5 it’s time for an update.
silofolous,
Great app!
I have used this app for about a year, and it truly is fantastic. Congratulations to the team!

Allow me to give one suggestion for the future of the app. The new iPhones contain 3D Touch. It would be great if, by pressing harder on a letter, it brought up the nikud options, and then the user would release their finger on the vowel they wanted. That way, with one press, both letter and vowel are selected.
َٰ,
Does not support long touch or 3D touch, incredibly outdated and thus overpriced.
Scandalous that this app, for $5, 2-3x more than the going rate for such an app with no trial version, hasn't been updated in three years (as of 2019), and does not work with new phones (with 3D touch where a long press on a button brings up the nikud, while a hard press on the keyboard should allow scrolling cursor back and forth. Will update this review if these features are added to at least keep up with the "normal" iphone hebrew keyboard, which unfortunately has only a limited nikud functionality.
Bielikov,
Masoretic points - תודה רבה
This is one of my favorite apps. It is easy to use and extremely useful. I have an urgent request. Can you please include a single chevron-type accent (<) that I can put over the letters to mark a single, simple accent? I recommend your app to all my friends. תודה רבה
Yakov Ariyeh Ben-Yonatan,
Keys are too small, too expensive for the quality
The keys are too small compared to the default Hebrew keyboard which has Niqqud now
IvritStudent,
No longer supported.
No longer supported! That was my answer when I asked a question. After buying it I used it on Pages and Navigator. On navigator the keyboard covers the entire screen keeping you from seeing what you type.
Isaac1315,
Love it
This is very useful

Phxnewgal,
Pretty straightforward
The app does what it claims. The way it adds nikud is very different, however, from the Hebrew keyboard in programs like DavkaWriter, so it takes some getting used to.
Bullseyeyjjs,
Great APP, But Need Improvement
This app helped me make flash cards on my iPhone easily with nikud, but need to add accent mark and other marks. That would be more helpful.
Mad Monk 11,
Doesn’t Work with Bluetooth Keyboards
To use this keyboard you have to use the onscreen virtual keyboard. It doesn’t work with my ZAGG keyboard case for my 2018 iPad Pro (the same body as the 2019-2020 iPad), so I assume it is not going to work with the keyboard cases for the 2019 or 2020 iPad Pro with the newer body either. The app hasn’t been updated on over a year, apparently since iOS 9. The developer doesn’t care about this product. Neither should you.
