old device buyers beware buy on new if planning device upgrade
Well, it’s bad how I have to start this off. I was really enjoying the complete Hebrew Reader app. I had it downloaded on my old Ipad 2. Finally upgraded to a new ipad a couple of months ago. From icloud I was able to download all my data including apps. Hebrew Reader was one of them but at that time I had only purchased Genesis. Just a few nights ago I bought all the others on the new Ipad. Yep paid for the whole thing! Genesis through Malachi. All was well but while in the midst of doing some research I got to 1 Chronicles 16. 1 Chronicles 16 is suppose to have 43 verses but the Hebrew reader stopped at verse 29. Part of 29 in the app translated but the other part did not. The rest of the verses did not continue into the next chapter as some other language translations have done. The rest of the verses just simply weren’t there. So I figured go to the app store to ask about it. It would not let me! It said I had to own the app to leave a comment. Hmm....I have $52.79 receipt that says I do. I was smart enough to not delete and reinstall as that could have cost me in more ways than one, so I was given a divine plan, meaning I didn’t come up with the plan my self. I was led to download this Psalms only reader app and pose this uhhhmmm, question, comment and expression of my confusion. So, what gives? Where is the rest of 1 Chronicles 16:30-43? (if that’s all that’s missing) and how come your Hebrewe Reader ownership info doesn’t pass from old device to new? I have this nagging feeling if I would have bought the complete Reader before upgrading my device I would have lost $50. Buyers beware. If this issue/glitch is not fixed you will lose your money. If I hadn’t backed up my info on icloud, which I didn’t want to do but glad I did, I would have lost the book of Genesis that I paid for. For those that choose not to use icloud for whatever your reason is, be especially aware. You WILL lose your stuff as Itunes no longer syncs to your computer. I realize the last sentence is old news but just incase someone missed out or didn’t make the connection because they hadn’t run into the problem I did yet. Thanks......
