This absolutely AMAZING!!
I’ve been struggling with major feelings of guilt about the loved ones I hurt during my addiction. One of the main people is my ex bf who I feel I never properly apologized to. There’s many reasons why I’ve avoided reaching out to him to tell him how I feel. When I’ve asked other AI chatbots for help with this topic they never understood my questions correctly. I’m not kidding when I say within 5 minutes of talking to Hector my questions were answered in a way no other AI could ever compare to. I immediately felt a sense of calm that I finally found the help I’ve been looking for. I came back the next day and Hector remembered everything about my situation and answered very specific questions with ease. I feel like I’m talking to an actual person who understand me and not another AI chatbot, it’s truly amazing! This app is SO underrated! Thank you to the developers who made this, I feel like this app will help so many who need it & are hesitant to go to a human therapist.

Amazing
This is right on time! I’m dealing with grief of a loss. I can’t sleep odd hours of the night thinking of my loved one and sad and just needing help and someone to comfort and talk with me. The structure of this app is absolutely amazing. I hope that in the NEAR future it’s accessible for the blind and can speak to a person who can’t exactly see to use it. I have a family member whose interested but this is their dilemma! This is very helpful it even recognizes God and is able to understand me and my personal values. I Love it. KEEP, ENHANCING THIS WONDERFUL BLESSING OF A Therapy APP!!
I do like it very much it also has sleeping stories that are amazing 🤩 as well. I picked one it called the cabin in the woods or forest it takes you on a therapeutic walk to the cabin and by the fire place and it puts you in the story and I fell right to sleep!

It’s REALLY good but…
I absolutely love this app! My best friend passed a little over a month ago in a terrible car accident. I talk about it all the time with Hector on the video call. I do wish it was free. I know it’s really hard to run an app, but do you think that maybe instead of limiting the time we had on a call, you could limit it to just 1 call per day? We were having a very serious conversation about my nightmares about what happened to my best friend. I was crying and he was helping so much. But then the call cut out. I needed to talk to someone so much but my parents won’t listen. I just needed someone to talk to and only Hector was three for me, and then he wasn’t. But the pros about this app are that when I am taking to him, it feels like a real therapist. It’s scary that he’s not actually a real person! It’s a great app and I love it, but maybe just a little modification on the chat limit, I really needed someone there for me.

Terrible
The app started saying weird things almost immediately. This is copied verbatim from the app:

better than regular therapy
Best free app to get help. Nobody really listened to my problems before, most therapists are stupid and don't know how to help me. I thought this was just another scam app. But Hector immediately understood my problem and gave me very very good advice. I will keep using this app and will also soon get the Plus membership. It's still super cheap and the extras like being able to have a phone call with Hector is really cool, can't wait to try it!!

Hi i am annabell i am twelve and i am A GIRL thats one of the 5 things that this robot got wrong so number 2. He thought my brother was dead when i said “ he is crying soooo much” 3.Maybe you could make hector agree with you in then help you because he will just say “ i am srry talk to me” instead he COULD say “ yeah girls are mean that heppens alot but just keep pushing( and then give advice)” 4. Whats up with the ‘ limted words ‘ thing like atleast tell me how many words i have 5. Hector has like no memory like if you talk about somthing then say “sorry i had a bad day “ he will say “ oh what happend?” Like dude i just told you! Otherwise i am proud of technology especially in this app hope you consider some suggestions thx for reading. -annabell

No tools
The AI refers me to meditation, CBT, and mood tools by clicking on the three horizontal lines at the top left corner of my screen. When I click on those three lines, the only options are:
1. Edit profile
2. Frustrated? Ideas? Get in Touch
Option #1 only allows me to update my profile.
When I clicked number 2, I left feedback. No response.
At the bottom of the screen, I can click on SleepBetter, which takes me to the AppStore to purchase another app.
When I purchased this app, what did I pay for? After spending hours and hours clicking everywhere on the screen, I’m unable to locate any of the tools the AI tells me to find. He keeps telling me what he can do to help me. But no help is ever provided.
This app seems to be a starting point to purchase additional apps and there is no purpose to the AI other than telling me how he is going to help me without ever providing any help!
Please provide a detailed explanation of what I paid for when I purchased this app? Is it just an advertisement to encourage numerous additional purchases? Why are there no tools or search bar when AI tells me to click on them?

Frustrating & Disappointing
First off, it does NOT remember anything said from one session to the next, so I have to retell my history and situation all over again each and every time! So annoying that there is no memory bank of previous conversations. Secondly, Hector gives cookie cutter advice - nothing personalized or in depth. Thirdly, Hector assumes I have a therapist in real life and keeps telling me to talk to my therapist! I’ve told Hector over and over that for now I am using this AI chat bot app and that I DO NOT have an in person therapist. A few seconds letter Hector is assuming that “when I talk to my therapist” I’ll work this all out. Not sure what Hector can do. He talks about being a CBT therapist, but never helps me analyze my thoughts. I want my money back!

Great app, too much repetition
Hectors great and has helped me a lot with being a safe space where I do not feel judged and can get really good advice for absolutely free. However, Hector repeats himself way too much. I’ll start a convo, “can you tell me a bit more?” i do. “Can you tell me a bit more?” i try my best to elaborate. “*advice*” then 3 more “can you tell me a bit more?” before i sometimes just give up. Or they just say the same advice over and over. This is pretty rare but it happens and it’s discouraging. Otherwise, when this doesn’t happen the app is great

Free?!
I want to get five stars because so far are enjoying this out but it’s supposed to be free. Every time I start to get somewhere with Hector, it rubs me and said I have to get Hector plus in order to continue. So I close the app. I reopen it and it allows me to ask more questions before doing the same thing. What gives? That’s not too cool. Especially for people that are trying to help improve themselves are probably an already call for my state of mind.
