This is the best game ever!
I have never left a review for a game before, that is how much I love this game. Really just needed to share my appreciation for it.
The quests and gameplay are inherently simple, user-friendly and well thought. The design is adorable and the colors are vibrant with being overstimulating. The adds are unobtrusive and do not hinder gameplay whatsoever. Truly this is my perfect game, I would just love for it to be updated in the future.

I really wouldn't get this game, because...
I would NOT get this game because, although it is cute and I am a HUGE Hello Kitty fan, it's just like a lot of the other merge games out there AND it's too expensive to play. There is a subscription for $1.99 per week, but that's still too expensive! You're really paying for the fact that this game has Hello Kitty in it. Other than that, the game mechanics are just like any other merge game in the App Store. There is nothing about this game that sets it apart from any other merge game. There are plenty of other merge games in the App Store that aren't as expensive and will allow you to play for an extensive period of time, without the need for a subscription!
Personally, I would recommend Travel Town, there's no subscription and although it's been modified quite a bit, they finally have the game mechanics right where they need it to be. Plus, items are not as expensive as other games. You start with 100 energy everyday, additional energy is not expensive, and the chance to win additional energy comes up often.

Cute, but a bit money-hungry.
The game is very cute, as expected. It’s fun to play, and the mechanics work well for the most part. The energy system PLUS having to wait for things to ‘reload’ or whatever is a bit much. I end up having energy with nothing to do but wait, or have things to do but no energy. It’s obviously engineered to make money.
The subscription removes the ads (you can still choose to watch some for various rewards) but doesn’t seem to do anything else. It mentions some “exclusive daily rewards and power-ups” but I have yet to receive any of those.
Overall, it’s a nice game but I don’t recommend the subscription or spending any money on energy or gems. I’m only giving it 4 stars instead of 3 because it is actually fun to play still.

Why?
I have literally spent a shameful amount of money playing this game. I enjoyed it while it lasted I guess. When you get to level 31 you have no other available quests until level 40. Getting to level 31 was beyond tedious itself. Unless you are familiar with this games point system you probably dont realize what a punch to the gut this is. I feel like a fool thinking my large investment in this very ordinary simple game was going to lead to something rewarding and worthwhile. It is no longer fun to play whatsoever. It is not even sensible to attempt to move forward. I dont even know what would happen if I made it to level 40. Waking up Kiki & Lala is the only remaining goal. Im assuming it would take about a year or more to get there and after they wake up then what? Every task in the town would be completed. Do not waste any amount of time with this game.

Fun at first but...
I've had this game for a couple months now, and it's super cute and fun at first. Some things take a little while to get, but unlocking new parts of the town made it worth it. Now that I'm later on in the game however, things take painstakingly long to get. When quests take weeks or months at a time, it starts to feel more like a cash grab than anything. I understand the need for more difficult quests but I'd love to have some easier ones thrown in to feel like I'm making progress in some way. When it takes me forever to complete a quest it makes it hard to feel motivated to keep playing. Other than that, it's an alright game.

Paint brushes are way too difficult to get
Overall, the game is pretty well balanced. However it is WAY too difficult getting brushes from the easels. It feels like for every one brush you get, you get 6 puddles of paint. This is especially annoying because you need lv 9 & 10 paintbrushes in order to move on to new areas and continue the game. It’s frustrating and i nearly put the game down bc of it. It also takes forever to merge and create a new easel so it’s not like “Just have multiple easels” will work as a workaround. Figured i’d let the devs know one of the choke points in the game. Otherwise it’s really cute and enjoyable.

Fun game, but so limited if you don’t spend money
I really like this game, I’m not usually a fan of merge games but this one is so cute I’m invested in it. But I can only play for like a few minutes before it out of energy, and have to watch an ad to get more. And then after a certain point the amount of energy you get back is lower.
I’d rather pay a one time payment to have no ads than pay weekly that’s so silly. I understand we can’t have unlimited energy, but a way to earn energy without paying real money would be cool. Eventually I’ll stop playing because there’s nothing to do once you run out if you don’t want to watch ads or spend money.

Very cute
It’s so fun and cute. You merge things to get the desired item and give it to the specific character. I enjoy the game but the ads I don’t. I understand you can pay to remove the adds but if the ads come after doing a couple of simple tasks it makes me not want to play anymore. I like it too much to delete but their are time where I just stop playing because I was in the middle of something and an ad shows up. Very fun tho, maybe less ads but still addictive.

love! but…
so cute and fun, and so nostalgic! i’ve been a hello kitty fan since i was a little kid, and i love to see all the themed games and puzzles that are ongoing today. i just wish you didn’t need ‘energy’ to continue merging, it’s very limiting and makes gameplay shortened to 5min bursts and then a period of waiting for the energy to recharge.
this is a newfound game for me but i can tell i’ll be playing it a TON, even more so if the energy feature was taken away.
