I think we’re all probably getting used to seeing some terrible mobile game ads, and the ads for this game aren’t great, but the game itself is fun. The ad makes it seem like you could play it for hours and never make it past level 1, which would be frustrating and not at all fun, but that is not the case. Leveling up, especially early on, is quick and easy. It does slow down, like all games like this, but it’s meant to be the type of thing where you go do other things for a while (work, school, sleep, etc.) and come back to some decent rewards. The ads that you watch while in this game are also terrible, and some take 5-6 taps to get out of.

There are a few issues, like if you’re not on the screen it expects when a tutorial comes up, you can end up being told to tap somewhere that doesn’t exist, and you might have to force quit and relaunch to get the game to work again. Some translations are rough, but you can figure out what it means, others are missing. Also, the interface is VERY busy. Lots and lots of things all around the screen, greatly reducing the size of the actual game. And scrolling around in the game is awkward. It goes faster than your finger, so it’s difficult to control.

Overall it is a fun game, but it could be better if they cleaned up the interface, translated all the text, and fixed the scrolling.

If you have your updates turned off like I do, and you manually update your games like I do, do not update this game. I still have not updated my game, so I am still able to have fun. Many players have expressed not getting to play the game anymore after the update because the nerds made them so weak that they couldn’t defeat any enemies. If my game was forced to update, I would have definitely quit the game already. If you are playing on the current version of the game, just delete the game. It’s not worth the time and effort, and will be too much of a grind if you are pre-update 2.0.
If you are on a version before version 2.0, you will enjoy the game and it is very fun. Right now we can only hope that the developers will listen to players who have enjoyed the game, many who spent their money to remove ads and support them.
Remember devs— developers that do not listen to their player base are bound to lose their player base all together.
I will update this review if they fix the problems they created and will change it back to 5 stars like it used to deserve.

I like idle games because I’m busy throughout my day. I like the fact that I can just log in claim my stuff and still advance. I also like how in this game instead of spending money you have the option of watching adds and advancing at an even greater pace. I watched too many adds for it to have been thrown down the drain after the update. I lost 90% of the power I had, the skills that carried the game became useless and now I can’t even grind levels because the required power to defeat the challenges didn’t go down with the power loss, they increased dramatically as a matter of fact. I hope it gets better but I lost a lot of the little free time I had and to try to get the power level I had before just to be able to grind the levels I was doing before is not very motivating.

Had a ton of fun with this game at start and it feels amazing to see your power level climb and grow. However it makes me want to delete the game when I am stuck at a level because I need to upgrade my archer armor manager to level 100+ and he is capped at level 40 because I can’t pull his shards often enough. Super frustrating that I’ll just be stuck at this level for another week most likely at this rate instead of constantly progressing based off of killing the enemy.

I also can’t keep killing higher level enemies until I level up my manager because that is island locked and so I’m stuck waiting to get enough free gems to do chest pulls and hope I get the right manager shards. Very frustrating to be stuck like this and makes me want to quit

Just another mindless tapping game. I played for 15 minutes, it did not engage my brain at all. Super one dimensional. You just have one resource, gold, and one parameter to improve,
attack. Gold comes in automatically. So you’re literally just sitting there waiting’s to get enough gold to upgrade your attack. I can tell that later on there are other buildings you can build and branch out a bit but I’m not going to sit through this boring process of waiting for gold and upgrading my tack for an hour before I can get to that level. I got to a point where I had to wait 5-10 minutes to get enough gold to upgrade one time. And 1 attack upgrade is pretty insignificant.

So if you are curious what all the complaints are about I may be able to shed some light on them.

The devs have elected to artificially slow progress in the game rather than make new late game content, and it really is detrimental to the gameplay.

Normally progress gradually slows as you get more and more powerful as is very common in RPG’s. You level your gear, and occasionally hit a limit requiring you to upgrade your managers to continue to progress. Early on this is fine as you can farm them easily, but late game it gets more difficult because you start to need premium chests. The regular managers need 5-10 levels to progress. The premium managers now require over 100 levels, which will take roughly 6 months or upwards of $6-700 in premium currency to gather.

What’s worse is you are locked in at your current stage until you do this, meaning progression completely halts unless you pay for it. This was truly a terrible decision by developers, that could have added extra sprites and equipment without much effort to expand the game with new levels rather than going this route.

I like this idea but there are way too many in-app purchases pop ups. And the game is engineered to make you want to spend money or watch a lot of ads (ads are optional, but everywhere). Some elements do seem pay only, and some of the packs are literally $99 🤪

Its $15 to get rid of all ads. Even if you were to pay to get rid of all ads, there are other things to pay for and the packs pop up every time you log in, and are cluttering the screen while you try to play the game.

You make potato warriors of all kinds you can have skins that give buffs like the minions from despicable me, iron man all kinds of heroes and hero skins! Tons of rewards that are super awesome and managers that help in the fight like iron giant from that movie, and you can steal other peoples resource too! Tons of amazing stuff to do this is the best game I ever seen in my entire life! You upgrade everything too like weapons heroes mangers I mean everything!

The game is extremely p2w. I get pop-ups for in app purchases and I have to watch constant ads to even progress in anything!

I have the OG potato and captain marvel but that’s still not enough to even move up a single stage. The game is literally impossible to grind after you moved to a certain point. Also, it’s RIDICULOUS that I managed to lose in the arena when the power difference is high. Like, 12.7 bb vs 1.2 bb, who wins? Should be the 12.7 bb right? WRONG.

Please dev fix this issue and the power drops, it’s getting impossible to progress and earn even an inch of money to even upgrade my units anymore.
