Very very fun game
The reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is because the documentation is terse and not too helpful. I’m all for games where you have to discover things by trial and error, but there is a limit to patience for such things and some minor hints would have helped. But I love this game.

Endless replay-ability
Extremely addicting. A ton of unique scenarios that require precision and the ability to fully utilize every resource at your disposal. I like the simplistic graphical without being overly cutesy. It strikes a perfect balance that makes it feel like what it is - a very solid strategy game. The combinations of gems and towers working together multiples the possible ways that your set up functions. The various scenarios - and there are A LOT of them, 30 in medium, 30 in hard, require so much individual planning that no two games are alike.
One recommendation I’d have for anyone who’s stuck on a level, check to see if you have any upgrades available. You’re rewarded with gems for completing a mission (which I didn’t realize until half way through) and upgrade what you need to strategically. Also, in the bottom right corner, you’ll see two icons, one of which is a lightning bolt. One of those is a massive attack, the other speeds up nearby towers. Play with them, another thing I realized too late. With those tips in mind, there is no level total not be able to complete it you’re strategizing properly.
Only criticism is that the English seems pretty poor so I don’t really understand what they’re saying in the manual, but you get enough of a sense that you can learn as you go.

Fun up to level 4
I really got into this tower defense game so much so that I paid $5 for upgrade crystals. But my enjoyment came from the first 4 levels. I was able to play those levels without damage and played them over and over. However, level 5 lost me and I haven’t even bothered with the game since.
The difficulty wildly ramped up from level 4 to level 5 so much so that with all my weapons at “Max” upgrade, I still was not able to get through it without severe damage no matter what I did. So I saw no point going any further in the game.
Be advised, don’t waste any money on upgrade crystals because they won’t help after level 4.

So far so good
I am a tower defense addict that doesn’t need to go to leaderboards and get elaborate in schemes of play.
This one is direct and enjoyable just playing by myself and strategizing. It has enough weapons to think it out and come up with different ways to beat each level. Great for pastime.
That being said, I am only on level 3. LOL. I wanted the 1200 gems.

Addicting
This is my first tower defense game but I love it. It is just enough challenging and rewarding to keep going. I am on level 20 now and I can’t get past it. I am sure with a few more tries I will get to the next one, it always works that way.

Addicting - Sparse Documentation
I really enjoy playing the game, and have completed all 30 levels on both medium and hard mode. On ladder mode, though, I’ve been stuck at one level and have been totally unable to move past it. What would have given this game five stars?
1 - Better documentation. What’s there is sparse, not overly clear, and doesn’t fully document the game.
2 - Need more medium and hard levels past 30.
Otherwise, I like the game.

Don’t waste your money
After level 31 it is near impossible to progress further (even after purchasing gems). For every level you advance the approaching enemies seem to have jump up 5 times. Play it for free and quit once you feel the urge to spend money. Trust me it doesn’t get better beyond that point.

Re: Other reviews. Manual seems sufficient, so the developer must of updated that.
Please make it so ‘music’ can be turned off separately. The all or nothing with sound is annoying because the sound effects are good but we wish to listen to our own music. Thanks!

Smooth but simple
I’m giving this 5 stars for nostalgia, but I’d like to see more of an open map version where you can really build a maze, like the original GemTD WCIII mod.

Playing this game since the name was hex defense (4~5) years ago . This is really addictive and so fun , i just prefer better graphic and details , but totally its perfect
