There's an extra special way to enjoy Disneyland and this app is your guide. Hunting for "Hidden Mickeys" (images of Mickey Mouse cleverly concealed in DLR's theme parks, restaurants, hotels, and other areas by Disney artists and designers) is fun for all and a bona fide vacation mission for many Disneyland fans.
Serving as the OFFICIAL application to Steven Barrett’s bestselling book “Disneyland's Hidden Mickeys – A Field Guide to Disneyland Resort's Best Kept Secrets,” the mouse hunt is taken to a whole new level of interactivity with this application for iPhone and iPod Touch!
Utilizing GPS tracking [iPhone only], your location is scanned and immediately lists the closest Hidden Mickeys to you. If you’re not in the parks, or if you’d rather scroll through the different locations, you are able to browse categorized lists of each Hidden Mickey location. Keep track of which Mickey’s you find with an easy to use built-in scoring system. Keep in mind – this is a scavenger hunt! The score counts if you want it to, so do your best and try to use the least amount of hints as possible.
Whether you’re playing solo or with the whole family, you are able to keep separate user profiles to keep track of everyone’s progress. Spanning both parks and documenting over 480 Hidden Mickeys, this application will add a whole new level of entertainment to your trips to Disneyland!

This app is so much fun and enhances every trip to Disneyland! If it’s your first trip it will make time in line go much faster! If you do multiple trips a year it will add new levels of fun for each trip. I highly recommend this app!!!

Great app
I purchased the book back in 2010 so its a few years out of date. This app however is a cheaper way to get a list of hidden mickeys than buying another updated book if there is one out there. It has all of the mickeys that still exist from my book as well as new ones that aren't listed and also has hidden mickeys for the newer rides in both parks. If you are a hidden Mickey fan I say this is a must have!

Fun but needs to be updated
Lots of fun for the family and finding lots of mickeys I’d never seen. Only problem, it doesn’t have the new marvel area or star wars are. Over all 4/5 stars.

It’s a cool app and has a few hidden things, however, it is not up to date where attractions and rides have changed locations or renovated.

Out of Date
Unfortunately, a lot of this is out of date. Parts of rides don’t exist at all and they still show in the app. It hasn’t been updated in 3 years. Some are useful.

Interesting info, but most was outdated.
I don't think this is their fault, but disney is constantly changing. Although some of the locations were still the same, the majority of locations have moved, been destroyed or just no longer exist. This application, while nostalgic, was not helpful during a current vist and while I would have certainly paid $.99 for the old information -- $5.99 was a little much. I expected a whole heck of a lot more from this application and it did not deliver. (PS.. the GPS while inside disneyland is a little spotty due to the high demand for it these days, this cannot be blamed on the application, but that doesn't help that they have torn down most of the spots that they refer to). I love the book though! Buy the book!

Great app for a great time
My wife and I literally spent all day finding hidden Mickey's all over the park! We had spent every visit speculating about if we had found one or not. Now we know and can keep track of our finds. This app gives hints of their locations on each ride and uses google maps as well to help point you in the right direction. A must have for any Hard core Disneyland goer!

Bug Fixed and Great App
Huge Disney and huge hidden Mickey fan so these apps are great! If you are experiencing problems with the app so that when you tap "I found it" it doesn't stay that way and says you still haven't found it, delete the app and reinstall it for free. It works. Great app and very fun to look for all the hidden mickeys!

For a first time visitor, or an annual pass holder, this game takes visits to the park to a whole new level! The apps easy to use, and fun for the whole family! We find that we notice things we've never noticed before. We share this app with others in line, keep up the good work!

Love this but wish it was updated
I love using this app whenever I go to Disneyland/California Adventure! It’s fun to go on a hunt for all these hidden mickeys. It isn’t updated to the recent changes made, like Guardians of the Galaxy and Pixar Pier which makes me a little sad but most of the rides/attractions on the app are still there in the parks. This is a great fun and interactive app for all Disney lovers!
