Description
- Unencrypted text and photo transmission may be viewed by unwanted third parties. Send and receive secure messages and photos directly with people you trust.
- We do not operate any servers to run this app. Messages you send and receive with people you trust using this app are delivered using your phone's SMS, Email, or other messengers. (We think using SMS will provide a bit more security. .)
- This app provides users with a very high-level security message by optimally combining the high-security key manager provided by the mobile phone and encryption algorithms of RSA, AES, and SHA2.
- Texts and photos using this app can be safely viewed at the moment you need them only by the owner of the phone and remembering the password.
Check if the messenger you are using is safe.
1. How does the messenger you are using protect your messages from third parties?
- Your unencrypted messages are leaked very easily.
- If the encryption method does not use the latest technologies, the message cannot be said to be secure.
2. Can you trust the messenger service provider you are using?
- Your message may exist on the service provider's server for a certain period of time.
- Even reliable service providers are sometimes unable to protect your messages from public authorities or hackers.
3. Isn't it easy for the person behind you to see the chat screen via messenger?
- Most IM screens are difficult to protect because anyone with a clear line of sight can see them.
4. If I lose my phone, are the messages in it safe?
- Unencrypted or low-level encrypted messages can be viewed by professional hackers.
#Very important
To send and receive HideNSee secure messages, you must use this app to create a safe chat room in the following order.
1. Invite a contact from your contacts in this app. The invitation message is sent as one SMS text and one MMS file.
- The invitation message contains my 'public key' that does not matter if a third party takes it.
- Since the 'public key' is used to encrypt the message and only the user with the 'private key' can see the encrypted message, it does not matter if a third party takes the 'public key'.
2. The invitees share the received MMS file with the HideNSee app.
- The received MMS file is saved in My App as the 'public key' of the inviter.
3. The invitee sends his/her 'public key and symmetric key' as an MMS file to the invitee.
- Since the 'Symmetric Key' is encrypted with the 'Public Key' of the inviter received earlier, it is safe from hacking.
- It is handled automatically by the HideNSee app, and the user only confirms the selection and use of the MMS file sending app.
4. The inviter shares the received MMS file (the other party's 'public key and symmetric key') with the HideNSee app.
- The received 'public key and symmetric key' is stored in the app.
5. A secure chat room has been created.
- Two people encrypt and store the inviter's 'Symmetric Key' with their 'Public Key', and use their 'Private Key' to unlock and use only the moment they send a message to the other.
- If your phone is not in use by jailbreaking, your 'private key' is stored in the most secure device of your phone and is safe.
- Even if someone steals the 'private key', it is virtually impossible to use the 'private key' unless you know the password you remembered when installing the app.
6. The symmetric key is stored securely in both people's apps and no one can see the messages you send to each other. Send and receive messages securely using the HideNSee app.
The HideNSee app also provides a way to protect against message hijacking by deleting all stored messages in a way that others do not know, even when you are forced to launch the app and show your messages.
