Welcome To High There

High There is the Social Cannabis App. We’re a community of cannabis enthusiasts looking to create, connect and learn.

While other platforms censor creators for discussing the cannabis industry, High There promotes and highlights cannabis centric content that allows our users to share their interests, learn about the industry, find new friends, get the latest news and discover the best products.

As a social network, our goal is to allow our community to freely express and share their cannabis interests. Since community safety is at the core of everything we do, posting content that is illicit, inappropriate, offensive or promotes the act of soliciting is against our guidelines.

We hope that as a member of High There you’ll be inspired to create content, start conversations and build a community of your own.

How It Works

Here’s how to get started on High There:

Create an Account using our authorized methods. You’ll also be asked to verify your phone number in order to ensure that you’re a real person and to protect our community.

Fill Out Your Profile with your name and an image of yourself!

Discover Content you love on the Feed by scrolling through the For You tab. Once you’ve found content that you enjoy, press that follow button to stay up to date on the latest posts.

Find Creators To Follow in the Discover tab.

Get Connected by having Live conversations in Rooms. Join a Room based on your interests to have conversations, ask questions and quickly get to know the High There Community.

Create Posts and Stories to share with your friends. You can create photo, video and text posts and share Stories that will last for 24 hours.

Features

The Feed

The Feed is made up of two components: For You and Following. On the For You tab, you’ll be able to discover the latest and greatest posts on High There. Once you find content that resonates with your cannabis interests, simply follow the creator and their posts will start to show in your Following Tab. You can also follow topics and hashtags.

Discover

Discover is the place to find new creators to follow. We’ll show you users based on location, interests, who’s trending right now on High There and who just joined. Discover is a powerful tool to help you find like minded people to build your cannabis community.

Rooms

Start the conversation or jump into one with our very first live feature, Rooms. Select a Room that pertains to your interests and quickly chat with the High There community. Ask questions, start the conversation or simply just observe, Rooms are built for quick connection over shared interests.

Create & Stories

As a social cannabis app, High There is all about sharing content with your community. You can create photo, video or text posts that will show on the Feed and your Profile. And, you can create Stories, posts that last for only 24 hours. They’ll show up at the top of the Feed to your followers and on your profile. You’ll even be able to contribute to global community Stories such as #PuffPuffPass.

Profile

Lastly, build a creative profile that shows who you are to the High There community. Find a username that suits you best, add an image of yourself and update your description to let users know why you’re on the app. You’ll also be able to add social links, see your followers and who you’re following on your profile.

Build Community

The core mission of High There is to build a community of cannabis enthusiasts and to be the platform for all voices in the industry. We hope that you’ll use High There to build a community, catch up on the latest industry news, discover new products and learn about the cannabis industry.

Great community but app still needs work

Adding some basic features to empower users would be really beneficial. It’d be nice to be able to choose which notifications to receive, because for example, I don’t need or want to be notified when a friend makes a new post. That made me even consider excluding a friend that posted too often, but that feature doesn’t seem to exist either!! Giving it 4 stars because this is an unique space as a social network. Thanks for working on it and I think it has a lot of potential.

Professional’s Product Review

Hello, let me start by saying it’s relatively close to what you expect, but will likely fall short of several of said expectations.

The concept is genius, it’s rather the delivery of it. You’re basically working with a social app so limited that I’d go as far as to say it fails to serve a purpose to as much as 90% of those who download. There are simply much better options out there.

With the rough summary of it’s current state out of the way, this app isn’t hopeless. Quite the contrary, since as an investor, especially one with roughly 60k in stock related to apps like this, I love the concept of an app dedicated to smokers. It’s a niche audience that can struggle to relate to those who don’t partake in the act.

I have extensive knowledge pertaining to social apps due to a career based on investing in them, and I got an email suggesting I try this app, I assume due to this affiliation.

If your company is interested in having someone with experience aid in ideas, or the execution of them, please reach out. While everybody has a vision for how their product/service should look, in my experience, help has always led to happier consumers.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and if help is not a current perceived need, my suggestion is focus on at least setting the app up to match people with those near them.

Dropped the ball

Idk what this app is trying to do anymore? It was technically a dating app. First you put limits on the swipes now you get rid of it completely. A lot of us got the app to meet people that was like minded. It was great and I met a lot of great people but now it looks better but with less functionality and focus. The old buggy high there was way better than whatever this app is now. The sad part is if you actually read the bad reviews of people that’s been using this app they all saying the same thing, why can’t we look for people local to us. After having the app for 5 years and trying to keep faith I’m finally gonna delete it because its just a fake cannabis instagram that I don’t even bother getting on anymore.

This is an app I’d recommend to any fellow smokers ❤️

If they added reels or shorts or any video sharing you could make money off based on views like TikTok,Instagram, or Facebook I’d spend more time on this app! I’ve been a on and off user for years! This app is the best when your traveling and have no idea where to get anything you can simply connect with local users and they can help or have a smoke sesh! If they had reels I’d give it 5 stars because I’ve met plenty of awesome people through this app!

You need to add these basic features please

Time and date stamps: so people can see Jane they are responding to a post, or when someone had a birthday or event.

Accurate add friends: right now, everyone is having problems adding friends to there list..saying “pending”.

This service has potential to be HUGE. Make the necessary changes, ad a simple IM feature, keep it free, and you will dominate the cannabis messenger market. Good luck!

Fixed the bugs but over complicated the app

The original app was very buggy but atleast it was easy to use and intuitive. I have no idea how to do most of the basic tasks I want to do in this new app. There are so many different features I don’t want to deal with. By trying to do everything this app does nothing.

Account issues

I had an account and after the new version I can’t access it anymore. I hope someone can help me get back in to it , I will not make a new one and loose all my content and time I put in this app.

Gave it 2 stars because of this issue if it would let me in then I would’ve gave it 5 stars.

Major issues

This app is worse than when I used it a few years ago. I got signed out of my account the day after signing up again & now I can’t get back in with the password I had written down and I can’t get the app to send me a password reset email - it keeps freezing. WASTE OF TIME.

Update: I gave it another try. you say the password issue is fixed....but it’s not. I’m still locked out of my account.

Doesn’t request photo permission and can’t finish sign up

The app requires you have a photo....but then it doesn’t request photo permissions. Because it doesn’t actually request it, there’s absolutely no way I can allow access to upload a photo. Since it can’t request, it doesn’t even show up in settings > privacy > photos > [app] > allow

AWFUL SINCE DAY 1

Lol terrible. The glitches and the lag will never improve. Been using this app for like 3 years. Nothing has changed one bit.

Update: the update is just as terrible. Overload of unwanted content, no block feature, overload of friend requests that I can’t even decline. CONSTANT CRASHING. Trashy girls that I do not follow that I can’t even block from my feed. NO EDIT button for comments. Terrible.
