People are wrong
I’ve played highrise for years now so I know a bit about how it works. There’s a lot of reviews that say you need to spend money in order to get “good” items. That’s not true. I had good items and friends before I started to spend a little money on the game. You can join crews and get items to sell that way. There’s plenty of non-eventing or crews intended to help out new users. There are some people who aren’t nice on the game, but if you stay away from people like them, then you won’t have a problem.
There’s so many fun things to do in highrise. You can buy and sell cute items and clothes. There is also weekly eventing for you to participate in to earn ranks and rewards. Joining a crew is also a really good way to make friends. A crew is a group of people that participate in events together and get to know each other in the crew chat. Some crews have requirements for the events (this just means how many tickets you need to get in an event) but there’s so many non-eventing crews to join when you are first starting out.
When you first start out, don’t ask people for donations or free items. There’s so many ways to earn items to sell that you don’t need to ask people for free stuff. There’s giveaways you can join and possibly even win. If you want to get on someone’s bad side, ask for free items. That will surely do it.

My honest review!
Ok so I already wrote a review but it wasn’t that in detail because I had to go somewhere. I want to give a honest and good review. If you like apps where you can communicate and meet people or earn items you can. It’s a good game and I honestly like it. But people are just so toxic and nasty. There are people who will ask you for your storefront prices and when you tell them they will call you disgusting words because your prices are to high for a Epic item but Epic items are supposed to be expensive so I don’t know what they thought for that. But other people will ask you for social media platforms and your private Snapchat. Like honestly it’s disturbing. And lastly it’s kind of hard to get gold. This game has many ways to get gold! Like for example there is a button that say watch for free gold. That is honestly a good way to get gold but you only get 2 on the first try. Also if you keep trying again you usually get building items which no one wants. You can sell things for gold or crew packages will maybe give gold but crew packages never happen so it’s kind of hard to get gold. There should be a wheel of Highrise in the game! It’s where you can spin each 24 hours to get a certain amount of gold the lowest being 5 and the highest being 100! It might be a little weird sounding but new players will have a chance to get gold! That’s it for my review bye bye! 👋

Lots of potential...
I think this game is fun and cool, it is inclusive and there are many clothing items and furniture to choose from. There are many downsides though. When it comes to placing furniture within rooms, many players have issues with moving furniture, and also moving and placing walls and floor. It's stressful and time consuming. I think the creators have a lot more potential since this app is addicting and good, and they are not quite living up to that potential...not YET at least. But I really hope for it to be easier to move furniture. ALSO I'd like to add that the game gets buggy at times, where you cannot watch any ads whatsoever to receive bubbles, gold and such. I hope this issue is resolved in the future. AND another issue...some people on this app are very questionable and inappropriate things are being posted. I know this app is 17+ but it's disgusting that you guys don't look more into the predators and weirdos on this app...YUCK...There needs to be more monitors and restrictions. The creators really need to step their game up and stop allowing this behavior. There are more negative things about this app that I can say than positive...that says a lot about the creators. The fact that there are reviews talking about this issue from YEARS ago is weird. Like why haven't you fixed this issue, 💀 Please stop being MONEY HUNGRY and actually put care into your app and users. Thank you. I hope these issues are fixed.

I joined this game as a request from a friend and enjoy it a lot but unfortunately for whatever reason I can’t watch videos or use the free daily gatcha at all I haven’t been on for very long and it’s frustrating that I can’t really build much in bubbles or coins because it’s constantly telling me I can’t watch more adds to earn them I can’t spend a whole lot of money on games anymore so it’s really upsetting to think I might have to spend a ton of money just to make a little in game currency to play with I would gladly watch adds all day and I have no issue spending money on games but if I can earn the in game currency as well it just feels disheartening and really horrible I don’t want to leave my friend in the game they asked me to join but it’s making the experience less enjoyable when all you can do is sit in the corner and watch I’m not a super social person in large groups irl or in games so this just makes it harder for me because I can’t tip anyone or play the gatchas and find cute outfits to trade with I’m not sure if it’s a bug or what but if it can be fixed I’d really like it to be I’ll continue to play but I’m not sure how much longer I can go not being able to earn currency without spending money

I’ve played since 2019. I use to enjoy it at first but it got old fast. It’s expensive to play. Harder to sell items. There are so many features only a selected group of players have access to. These items are not tradable and are becoming more appealing then the items for all players to access.
Daily goals require friends. It’s so hard to meet anyone nice on here let alone a decent crew.
So it’s pretty much pointless for those with social issues. The daily spins have been glitching so new players have no opportunity to get bubbles. New Feature after new feature with no time to test run the last bug the creators just caused. Many players who are innocent lose their accounts. the support team through the app has never, in any type of situation, with any player so far that I’ve seen, been helpful in anyway. This is not just a one app game. There is a test flight and a beta app to get the beta feature(3apps). Most times for support you have to use discord(2apps)
For a creature account you have to have access to a PC/laptop. 9/10 with most of these kinds of features, the first lump some number are able to do so and then no other players who would like to join in these features are put on a line up sheet and made to wait until another player decides to leave. Events have gotten harder to get rewards at higher ranks so the items you get are useless.

I had the game for a few years and spent way too much money on it as any teen would for a game. My account was recently hacked, no one had my password and my email was linked Incase I couldn’t remember. However, in the process of the event the hacker took off my email without me even being notified. Items that cost me hundreds of shameful dollars were stolen. The FAQ and support refused to replace the items to me. I could get into about how ridiculous the game has become over time, and the amount of cyber bullying that goes on, but at the moment I’m just here to express that many accounts get hacked and the support system is very poor and will not help, in fact after four years of me spending so much and keeping my account secure, they blamed me for getting scammed. Even if they track down a user, and block them, it’s as simple as resetting their device and creating a new account. So nothing really gets done when someone has done something terrible. The game scams users out of their money, it is a pay to play type of game and if you’re not extremely careful and someone hacks your account you will not be getting your items back. I advise staying away from this toxic game the people in it as well. It’s easy to get addicted to if you’re more of a social media type of person, but I’m literally begging everyone to stay off because it will hold you back and scam you out of a lot more than you expect. This doesn’t even get a star for me.. it’s just required.

listen i love the concept of the game and stuff but lowkey it’s kind of like it’s a scam in a way. most cool items or “pretty/cute” items cost gold. the only way to get gold is by spending money or doing surveys but don’t bother with the surveys they always say the survey didn’t work out and sell your information to ad companies. EVEN THE DAILT SPIN LANDS ON THE SAME THING EVERYTIME. there are people on this app who are so rude to people who don’t have items that cost gold and it keeps people from playing i have friends who have quit because they felt like they couldn’t be good at the game because they couldn’t afford to buy gold. another thing is that when you download the game you have to rely on other people to tell you what to do, some people don’t know how to event or how to make rooms or create items. the game is just messed up. yeah it’s fun when you make friends but i feel like y’all are just hungry for money and it’s not right. please find a way to make the game fair and fun for everyone and not just people who pay. edited: this game is crazy i read other reviews and everyone’s saying the same thing and the developers response is literally copied and pasted they’re not going to do anything about the game. it’s so dumb people are toxic and so is this game it’s messed up and it makes people who cant afford to spend thousands on the game feel poor. this game is a scam.

I’m starting off with the people in this game. It can be VERY toxic. Period. There’s literal ADULTS on this app that are bullying children. The app is 12+ and these 20 year olds are on here telling everyone to report younger kids playing just to kick them off the app. It’s literally a game- anyone can play. You’ll get bullied for doing anything on here, if you don’t spend money and your character looks like a noob. And then these people who’ve spent thousands of dollars on this game go and make their characters as noob-y as possible and praise each other about how good they look right after they bully new players for looking like that.
And if you actually want to be one of the top people in events, and be in a top crew, you need to spend money. LOTS of money. Otherwise you’ll probably stay at the bottom.
