Needs Game Center support
This game has fantastic animations, visuals, and content — especially for an app that was released in 2014 and made by only 2 people.
I played the game a lot and even unlocked the final reward in the game — the Slick Hipster costume.
I just wish the developers would add Game Center or Facebook compatibility so my progress could be saved across devices. There’s no such feature like that yet. 🙁

Hipster Smackdown can't be beat with a wooden ruler... The creator did such a excellent job, even down to the anemic guy in the veggie stand! Never get tired of it!

Cool concept - way too difficult
Game starts fun but escalates way to quickly! I'm guessing it's by design so you start buying their boosters in the store. You can't even make it out if the first level without a purchase. Don't bother!

I love how people are rating this badly and saying stuff like "I'm a hipster and I'm offended" and "I have a friend whose a hipster and she's a very loving person!" The game isn't called "gay/lesbian/minority smackdown". Hipsters aren't a race or a sexual orientation or even an actual social class. They're just a group of people who look and act stupid and still manage to think they're better than everyone else. The fact that people are offended by this game because they're hipsters and feel like they're being segregated against is downright sad and pathetic. Take a number and stand in line behind the scene girls and boy which like it or not are what most of you began as.
You know what I'd really like to see? A juggalo smackdown. Just a suggestion.

Do not get this app
#hipsterequality I was completely appalled when I had seen this app. I do not understand why anyone would ever want to create an app against hipsters. I myself like to think of myself as someone who "does things before they were cool" which I actually do. But they advertise this app as a way to show your anger to the hipsters. Hipster really haven't done anything wrong. If you should feel anger towards anyone it would be the people who stole from hipsters but made the idea cool. It isn't hipsters' faults. Hipsters even try to go our own way and stay out of trends and things. But this app has no foundation and does not deserve to be a top rated app or even an app at all. Do not download this. I have respect for most app makers as I have wished to actually major in degrees similar to gaming. But this just isn't right. Do not download this app. #hipsterequality
