HobbEdu: Learn, Speak, Explore Hack 2.43 + Redeem Codes

Learning new foreign languages with an app can be tiring. Have you ever thought about why? We think the main problem is that you need to constantly do the same thing over and over. Every time you go to a language learning app all you do will be just choosing correct words. Sometimes it’s just choosing, sometimes it’s putting in the right order or listening rather than choosing. For us it’s all choosing a word, like c’mon guys can get more fun experience browsing App Store, do you even try? So, we are here to change it, we want to show that learning foreign languages can be fun or at least diverse. Hobbedu is our app developed to help you with learning English, Chinese and Spanish. We tried to make it both fun and educational.

We developed our Hobbedu app as an easier ways to learn different languages than just constantly grinding the same thing over and over again. When you start to study languages it often can become doom of your desire to have something in common with them. Mainly because parents want you to learn it and they don’t really care how it will happen. It will be bored by the process and it will be for language learning. That is why we addressed this problem and tried to make it more like a game with a learning process as a priority. Of course you cannot run away from exercises where you choose the correct word but they don’t need to be the most common ones. In our app we actively use flashcards to make the process more engaging. Exercises like reading and speaking are also included but we tried to regulate the amount so it wouldn’t be so pushy. Plenty of different exercises will prevent you from being bored. We chose not to use minimalistic design because it’s too dull.

With our app you can learn Spanish, English and Chinese and one of the best features is that you can do it in teams. Create or join a team so you can chat and compare your results or ask for some help with grammar. It’s always more interesting to do those kinds of studying activities in a group. For all languages we have pronunciation practices and for Chinese we have calligraphy because it is an important part of that language.
