Major Update..WE FIXED ALL THE STREAMS for the 2017-18 season...well almost.
The list of updated teams is at the bottom.
I also added the ability to update streams remotely, so if you see one that is broken, just contact me from the settings of the app and I will try and fix it ASAP.
Unfortunately the Colorado Avalanche streams won't be available this season, the NHL has exclusive broadcasting rights to those.

Saved hockey for me!
The NHL app removed access to all their teams’ radio feeds this year(2022), leaving them only advertised behind the tunein paywall. Radio calls are the only way I have of following live hockey, and I usually really enjoy the local callers and getting to know the players, while doing art in the evenings. I had to accept that hockey wasn’t accessible to me anymore this year! Then I found this app, which saved my ability to follow the sport.
It has easy-to-find buttons for all the feeds, all the teams in one space, and background listening for user freedom. Frankly, a much better user interface design than the NHL app used to have (where they always seemed to be hiding the radio feed so people would buy their video)!

Cool App
This app has a different look and feel to it than other play by play radio apps, however, it's not perfect. The app has you choosing a radio stream from the team of your choice, but, in some instances, there are no radio streams present for some games. In the NYI vs WASH series, it seems the dev did not know what radio stations broadcast Islander games, and so you could only choose the CAPS radio feed. (Hofstra University Radio is the official station for the NYI.) Another feature that is missing are scores from the previous day/night.

Works way better than other subscription apps
I love this apps. I was paying $10 a month for Tunein but this works way better. The streams are clear and have very little, if any delay. I barely ever lose connection even when I have poor signal and when I do it reconnects on its own without me having to refresh or reopen the app. I’ve been using it for months and It’s never let me down. There has been a quality stream available for every game so far.

Should be FREE to listen
Hockey radio should be FREE. Let’s build the fan count by allowing current fans and will be fans to be able to listen. Love the sport and the players……good clean fun. This country and several other countries have assimilated in a family orientated sport. Let’s keep it GROWING. Fans that learn the game will find it thrilling. Hockey radio is the starter kit.

Thanks for letting me follow my team wherever I am
I’m so happy I found this. I can listen to my local station all day long, including pre game and post game, which the official NHL app doesn’t allow you to do. It’s also cool to listen to the other team once in a while. Having the scores displayed is a nice touch. Keep it up!

Hockey Streams is the best app for NHL audio. Every game, never a problem. If you’re not able to watch, this is your “go to” solution. Choice of home or away so you can always listen to your favorite broadcaster, i.e. Mike Lang or Rick Jeanerette, ( sometimes better than the TV guys) Every serious hockey fan should have this app!

Does what says it's going to do. Like the fact, It continues audio feed even after game is over. Gives listener chance to hear after game interviews and recap of game. Also gives options on audio feed 95% of time, giving different perspectives of the game from competing teams announcers. Very cool

Great app for my phone
Love, listening to all the radio stations with all the hockey games. The only problem that I have with this website is that a lot of times I can’t get the games because they don’t come into the app. A lot of data here for great games.

Started off good…
I was looking forward to using this app since I enjoy listening to hockey (and other sports) on the radio. This app started off good, then it took a hard 90 degrees drop. I have not been able to find any hockey games to listen to.
Is the developer going to fix this? Hmmm, I hope so.
As of now, I don’t recommend this app to anyone that enjoys hockey and wants to hear games that are not televised for them.

Great when it works
Simple, quick radio stream app with streams listed for every team in the NHL, two for some teams. Maybe I just have bad timing, but I haven’t gotten a Detroit stream to work the 4 or 5 times I’ve tried this season, though. Hopefully you’ll have better luck than I’ve had.
