Fantastic shooting app!
I’ve used a couple different apps for shooting but none of them gave me the entry angle for every shot. It took me a few times to get the calibration right but once i got it the training was very cool. My phone speaker isn’t too great but it worked well with my airpods.

Didn’t even let me shoot
When I would set it up, everything would work but when I pressed calibrate it continued to say that they couldn’t find the hoop. I read some of the past comments similar to my problem and Hoops app response was to get the newest version so I deleted the app and reinstalled it and I have the same problem

Great idea poorly executed
i shot for around 10 min with like 60 shots. I finish the training thing and it’s like “55 degree shot 4% splash and i’m like okay cool now tell me how to improve. I don’t know if there’s a paywall or what. in the ads it seemed like it would show you when you shoot and tell you how to improve. there’s NONE of that. don’t advertise something you can’t deliver on.

Not counting makes
This deserves 2 stars because for some reason whenever I was doing a workout, it started all of the sudden just not counting my makes so at the end I ended up with 37/90 which I know, for sure, that I definitely made MORE THAN 37. Also, the arc tracker wasn’t accurate.

Needs to be fixed
It calibrated fine and would pick up my shots but after the first shot it would crash I tried 5 different times and it would crash after the first shot

Disappointed
Even after I gave it access to my camera it turns black and shuts me out of the app every time I try to calibrate it. Really disappointed, I had this app recommended by a basketball camp, and I’m really sad that I can’t even use it.

Bad app
The app did not accurately measure how many shots I made or missed and on the buzzer beater part it had a random countdown with no words whatsoever maybe it did but it only let you see half the screen
