Needs more, but still really fun to play
Awesome, but it needs more. I love the game and how it’s developed but it lacks a lot of things that would make it REALLY good. First of all the price to buy the full version is a bit much in my opinion. Maybe $1.99 or something instead of $2.99 would work better for me. But as for the actual game, I wish there were more features other than just racing around some simplistic tracks. It would be cool to really customize your car with lots of cool options like paint, decals, body kits, wings, etc. I’d also love to see features like free roam (in an endless city or something based on whichever region you choose), friend racing, and creating your own tracks. This would add another amazing layer to the game and would really make me want to continue playing and purchasing things in-game. It’s been 4 months as of me writing this, since the developers had their last update, so I hope they didn’t just abandon the game. I hope they listen to this and consider what I and many others are saying. Thanks :)

Great Game! Needs Fixes...
I’ve had this game for about a year now but I mainly played it on my iPad before I downloaded it on my phone. The graphics of the game are phenomenal better than any racing game I’ve seen on the App Store! The tracks are very creative and the cars are just awesome! One problem I have with this game is that it’s constantly crashing... There are times when I launch the app and the game just crashes on start up. There are other times when I put my phone on sleep mode and leave the app in the background running and when I go and start playing again it just crashes which is really annoying. Another thing, one time I was playing the game and racking up my points to unlock the cups and bonus races. Not even 1 hour into the game and I crashes and I lost all my data that I saved in the last 15 minutes. I was mad to reopen my game and notice that the wins I had saved were gone. I just hope that this gets fixed cause I don’t want to have to go through the crashes again! Thank You.

Recommended for Switch
That’s right! Horizon Chase was never meant for IOS. I play the game on Switch and it is terrific! BTW, nice job with the Retro Mode that you get after you finish the Medium Endurance. Bit hard to play with but it looks sick. Anyways I recently thought up some things that you could add in the next update. 1: Remember the Hot and Cold season for playground? I think we should consider a Hot and Cold update for both Switch and IOS; adding two new cups; the Florida Cup and the Antarctica Cup. (I only said Antarctica Cup because I saw this giant boat dock (or is it a spaceport?) at the bottom of the world.) Also, you could add two new cars that you would get for finishing the cup. I don’t know WHAT the cars should be so, yea it’s up to you. Also one more thing; the Long Endurance should be easier to complete(70, 80 tracks long). If you don’t want to add this, I respect that.

Great racing game that is not too easy
I don’t write many reviews but I’m looking at the people complaining about the fact that you crash or you start in the back and I just felt the need to say how much I like this game.
Is it perfect? No. But I am glad it is not too easy even though some tracks are frustrating, you just have to choose the right car for the course and you can take 1st place on every track.
There are a few annoying little glitches in the interface but not during the races that I am seeing at all and I have been playing for at least a couple years. I would like to see more new tracks and a better way to customize the different rides because there are some cars that are never a good choice.

Good but VERY glitchy
I’ve played in 2 races now and both times it’s glitched really bad on me. The first time I spun out and hit a lamp post, and no matter how much I pressed the gas pedal, smashed left & right, etc. I couldn’t move, finally the car moved a millimeter forward toward the light post then I was off & running again. Then this last race I made it to 5th by the 3rd lap and wanted to secure my spot so I used a nitrous and it made my car stop completely. It kept driving at normal speed while the nitrous was going then as soon as the nitrous was out the car sputtered to a complete stop. I kept pressing on the gas pedal but nothing happened and it knocked me back from 5th to 17th..

It’s hard to find a good racing game but this is it
It has amazing levels and its a good challenge. So you play the levels and you get points to open more levels. I say all this but there is a down side. In some races you feel like a different car would be better for the race but free to play player don’t get this. You are stuck with a single red and you have to buy a pass to get a new car. I understand the price isn’t bad but I also don’t want to pay for this when I can just play a different game. The only free things is the world tour and three races from daily challenges. I love playing this game, it’s just hard when u don’t have the greatest car. You don’t need a different car to win but it would be nice to maybe change the color or maybe the shape. By the end of the day, still a good game

Perfect revival of arcade racers
Those complaining about the blind turns and difficulty never played OutRun. That's exactly how the quarter eaters used to be. One mistake cost you the race so you had to practice and memorize the tracks! The controls are spot on and the price is very reasonable. The graphics are a very interesting hybrid and plays without any stuttering on my 6s. I'm worried the in-app purchase prevents family sharing but it's not that much and the game is well worth buying for each device if you have to. Also,the fact that nitro is given at the start of every race when they could have made it a pay-consumable is huge and one of the reasons I'm buying the full version.

Finally!!!
A game that has been amazing to play. A game you buy and worth every penny. I have had absolutely no ads since day one of game play. Horizon also does not give you the temptation of buying upgrades to beat the game. You have to hone your skills and earn every trophy, every car, and every pro badge. The game is challenging and a blast to play. I have had this game for a month and I cannot put it down. I love the retro feel and controls are easily mastered. I hope this game continues to give us more. I love it!! Thank you for making an honest game without making us dig into our pockets to play, excel, and win. Finally a gamers game on a phone.

"This is a PAID game, but you can try it for free!" Is writed in description, how come there's so many negative ratings about this game being paid, or like it doesn't say that it's not paid? The game developing is hard thing, so why should the developers slave themselves making fully free games? Don't call them greedy or make a negative review if you can't pay 2-3$ for this, unless you have a good reason this is a bad game (glitches, data reset, crashes, problems) but in my opinion this game is fun, there's a small problems when bumping at opponent's car back (your car stops and go backwards, what a frustration!)

Fundamentally, the game looks and feels great. I love the gameplay! But the app itself needs some polish. On my iPhone 13 Pro, I have noticed some frame drops at random points in the menu, leading to some oddly jarring moments while in the menus and playing.
One of the biggest issues I have noticed are certain UI elements going off of the screen. Sometimes certain buttons can’t be pressed, or some numbers aren’t fully visible, and leads to the game seeming unfinished and unoptimised. The game performs fine as it is, but lacks polish. All the game needs is to account for the curved edges and the notch that are on all modern iPhones, and then the game will look very optimized and professional.
