Alexa support (or skill) would be cool
As a stand-alone app it seems pretty cool but it would be even cooler if there was integration with Alexa so that the themes could be accessed similar to the Philips Hue themes. Ie: “Alexa, turn on Disco in den” and it runs the “Disco” theme you created. Of course if this functionality is there let me know as I can find nothing about it online.

Great app, does exactly what it says it does
So I just set up a bunch of LED strips from Hue in my living room for when I DJ on stream. I found this app through the Phillips hue application actually and I found that this application works very well and says what it does there’s one problem that made me not give it a five at least twice during my show I had to unplug the lights and completely reset them so that the app could recognize them again and continue it’s disco function please fix this and I’ll rate five

Something changed that shouldn’t have
I used to enjoy this app but now it seems like it just turns most of the lights off and that’s it. Turning strobe mode on works - but I definitely don’t want them to only strobe. Something changed in the last year or so, either in this software or the API it’s using.
(It’s also possible that it’s having issues with the number of lights I have - my entire house is set up with Hue, about 50 lights, and while I don’t set them all to control by this app, it may still be a lot more than most people are using.)

So much fun! I’m a little worried though.
This app works beautifully. Especially with music that has a strong beat, like trance. However, I’m worried because I’m not sure at all if the rapid color changing, and especially the strobe effects, are damaging to the light bulbs or not. I wonder if it’s safe to use this a few times a month or not, or if it’s shortening the lifespan of my expensive light bulbs. Any feedback on this particular concern would be amazing.

Fun app but cuts off after a few songs
So I got this app before I even received my hue bulbs in the mail and at first it’s a blast to use especially during this quarantine. I do have an issue though, sometimes the light show randomly stops and I’m not able to reconnect. I usually have to exit the app and sometimes disconnect the lights as well to reset and try again. Otherwise, I’m having a blast

I do like this app, I like the options it has. It is reactive to music, so it it always a bit behind beat drops.
Recently it has been strobing the light, even when you choose a color pallet that doesn’t include white and it’s on “smooth”. It will seamlessly transition and then randomly FLASH FLASH FLASH FLASH at full brightness white. It makes it unusable on the patio as it is too distracting (don’t get me wrong, i like strobes and use that feature too, but a nice warm yellow to red spectrum is relaxing on a warm summer night).

Still works for me
Been using this app off and on for years. Broke it out last night for a Halloween light display and worked just fine, so I’m not sure what issues others have been having. I am on the newest iOS

App works perfectly, no issues so far. If you have lots of Phillips hue lights, this app is a must have. Our kids love having disco parties at home. Work both with music playing on an iPhone or iPad, or uses the microphone to synchronize with the beat of music playing in the room.

Connectivity problems
This app is very fun to use but like others said, the lights don’t change with bass drops which is disappointing. The main reason for only 3 stars is because I have a perfect WiFi connection and the app is ALWAYS showing me “false WiFi” and that I need to go hit the button on the bridge to reconnect..

Fun and kids love it
Fun app and does what I expected. Kids love it. The auto (as everyone has pointed out) does not hit on all the bass. But the strobe and beat features are great. Lots of customization. Even worthwhile if you only have the white bulbs, not full color changing. Worth the $4 bucks.
