A Four day course teaching the principles of deformity planning & correction.
Speciality day - Hip Reconstruction
First three days are dedicated to an instructional and practical course teaching the principles of deformity planning by clinical and radiological analysis. Will include the application of appropriate osteotomy techniques and fixation methods. Last day of the course, speciality day, will focus on congenital and acquired Paediatric and adult hip reconstruction. World renowned surgeons will cover the analysis, principles and management of hip deformity, osteotomies around hip, non surgical management and proximal femoral non union. Guest lectures on pelvis support osteotomy and intra articular deformities.
At the end of the course the participants will understand the principles of deformity analysis and deformity correction and be able to apply their understanding to clinical practice.
