Zaphos,
Cool, varied, can play with multiple people
It's a simple but fun game with lots of variety, and neat that you can play with multiple people simultaneously.

By the way, I did have the problem other reviewers are complaining about too, where it wasn't letting me go past a level (in my case 60) but realized that it was just because it had skipped me ahead and stopped giving me credit for beating levels. So, that is an annoying bug, but all I had to do to fix it was restart the ipad, and go back and beat the levels it had skipped (you can tell if a level was skipped if its circle is smaller).
B & R,
Another quality game
Like their game Wurdle, which is a simple word game that I have kept on my iPhone and iPad (unlike others that I delete within a few minutes after downloading or within a month or two) 100 is a game that is simple but deeply engaging. I have only played the first 10 levels. I stopped because I had to get to sleep so I could get to work in the morning. Otherwise, I would have stayed up and would have worked away at this game until I was blurry. The concept is simple. Enlarge the balls until you reach 100s. Do not let them touch another ball while they are red (growing). That is it! The challenge comes when there are more balls and they move around the screen, surrounded by bubbles, linked together etc. Movement is fluid. Try it!
Jet pack unicorns,
Stunning. Gorgeous. Unbelievable.
This game is in a class of its own. Minimalistic, smooth, and intelligent. You are thrust into the midst of the game with absolutely no directions, expected to learn the rules of the game simply by participating and using your own intellect and deductive reasoning. That's how most modern games work, and if you're familiar with games on the PS3 or XBox, you'll have no problem figuring out how to work in the Hundreds universe, which changes on each progressive level. There are occasional word puzzles throughout the game that require you to reorganize the letters to solve it. I've only solved half of one (only began playing today) so far. The soundtrack is awesome, btw, and I'm so happy some smart, progressive-thinking gamers decided to make Hundreds. Thank you!
Yahoo Monkey,
Edit: they fixed it! Wiped my progress
Fixed the bug so updating with a 5* rating.
The game is fantastic but it wiped my progress! It's so frustrating. Some of the levels are brutal and I really don't want to do them again. I tried playing on a different device (before the update) and was sad to see that it didn't retain my progress from playing on iPhone. I still played one or two levels just to try it on a bigger screen, then today after updating I see that my iPhone version gas gone from being at level 70(!) down to level 2! AAAAARRRRGGHH! How on earth did the game not ship with the feature in the first place- and why was there no warning with the update? It's ruined my experience with this game.
Xshadow182,
Top puzzle game by far!!!! Masterpiece!!!!
This is a very fun amazingly addicting and challenging puzzle game! I can't stop playing it, i love it and once I start I can't stop. Just got to level 76 and they get really challenging but not impossible. If you reach a level that seams impossible, there's usually just a easy trick that you end up figuring out after retrying the level over and over. For $3 Hundreds is a steal, great visuals and sound with the addicting/challenging replay ability. Plus they will most likely be adding more and more levels with updates which I am very excited for. I think a great addition to the game would be a level creator and the ability to play other people's created levels.

Thanks you Semi Secret Software for such a great game:

Adam Saltsman

For only four guys that made this great game you definitely know what your doing, thanks for all your hard work. I hope to see some amazing additional content added to hundreds in an upcoming update or another great game from you guys soon. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
brushmynoseoff,
Highly recommended intense puzzler!
As I have expected, quality release! What I love about it most besides the simplicity, is how easy is to keep jumping back in after failing a level. You don't get a second to get frustrated because with one touch of the screen, in most cases you, you are right back in the game trying again without losing heaps of progress or time as in a lot of other games.

I also enjoy the fact that you can spend 5 minutes trying to beat a level, and another time it'll take you 5 seconds. For example, in level 32 if I remember correctly, I was struggling with the spinners that were bringing me down to zero until I figured out and decided to trap them with the blockers that I previously tried to use as a shield. It's little things like that, making the experience feel rewarding.

I haven't tried it on the iPhone yet, but I believe the game might feel sort of clunky due to limited space. On the iPad, this is smooth as butter. Cannot recommend it enough!

If you enjoyed games like Eliss and Osmos, you'll love this.

Bad update, even worse support
If you happen to be reading this before updating, DON'T UPDATE!
The new update erases saved game content, as others have mentioned. The developers built in a special message about losing game save data, giving the impression that they knew this might be a problem.

There's not a support link from within the app itself, so I contacted the listed developers via Twitter. I was shocked by the tone of the replying developer's response, with him basically saying this only "seems" like a problem, and implying that because it only affected "about 20 people" - with only 2 of those contacted them via twitter/email - it wasn't a problem worth investigating. Instead of just asking me to email their support or anything to remedy the process, my problem was effectively ignored. However, when I mentioned App Store reviews - where more than 2 people have mentioned the issue - he quickly seemed eager to address the problem.

If you don't know the cause of a problem in your product, fine; apologize, ask for a crash log, whatever. But I don't see what there is to gain from belittling your customers' problems and insulting them. Maybe enough negative reviews will cause them to change their tone.
saalboy,
My 9 year old son says "awesome game"
Jonah is up to level 90 and loves the game. He's a bright kid obviously and he just figures out how games work while I haven't a clue (and I'm also very bright). Kids these days are just a lot quicker to figure this stuff out than us old fogies. He doesn't complain or criticize the maker - he just plays the game! Maybe it helps to have a bit of Asperger's like so many nerdy nerds. No problem installing and running on our iPad mini. Hundreds is worth the $4.99 price absolutely! Bring on more levels! Thanks to the folks who made this wonderful game.
David_K,
Fun but flawed
The game offers a unique concept with a clean interface but I found it to be more frustrating than fun after the initial few levels.

Many of the levels rely more on lucky bounces than strategy and for a game the requires precision the touch sensitivity and response were lacking. Often I'd find myself lifting my finger off a target only to see it still register a collision while other times the touch wouldn't even register at all. If it were cheaper I might recommend it but the price asked is a bit too much for something with some design issues to be worked out.
iJasoncourt,
Seems great, then not
At first I thought I had found a brilliantly simple and intuitive original game that I would rave about to friends. Unfortunately, after and hour (or less) it oddly delves into a crazy-difficult affair. I don't have a problem as much with HOW difficult them game gets (and I'm sure I only reached the tip of that iceberg) but how QUICKLY it ramps up. You go from happily enlarging red circles and smiling when you time it just right, to wanting to bash your head against the wall because out of baffled frustration in such a brief timeframe. So I suppose 4 stars for the first hour, 1 star afterwards. I just don't know why they didn't drag out the more simple joy for a while longer :/
