HungrySquid is a game about squids (duh!) in space, trying to find as many exits from a hexagon maze as possible. The more you find, the better!

It's a story (we also have a free iBook) of intergalactic squid solving space puzzles to get a very prestigious job - the keeper of long forgotten stars and planets. As one of six squids - each with it's own personality and goals - you will travel through space, time and mind bending puzzles, all to the tune of ambient space music.

HOW TO PLAY
Rotate the circles and then tap on the squid to see how the ink flows through each of the stones. Then align them to have as many exits as possible.
The game features an innovative gameplay mechanism, that isn't a clone of any puzzle game before it. Combine that with awesome graphics and sound, add a spice of addictive gameplay and you'll have one Hungry Squid on your iDevice!

TOUCH THE "HELP" ICON ON MAIN SCREEN!
If you can't figure that out, this game may be too hard for you! But simply-
Rotate the rings around the squid to make a path with the symbols from the squid to the outside.
The symbols show where the path will go. If you see a fork, the path will split where the fork goes.
When you tap the squid, it will start reaching like fluid along the path trying to find a way from center to outside the outermost ring.
The more of the squid that can get outside, the better. If you can get more than one path complete, you get better score.
Try the zen mode to experiment.
It is interesting, but the music in some places are disturbing and sounds like "die, die, die, die". Just me.

Well... Depends
I have to admit, I just LOVE the theme of this app!! Perfectly fine. There is calming zen music, and the graphics and story are good! It's just (sometimes) glitchy! When you are trying to figure out a puzzle, it won't let you rotate blocks to complete the puzzle! Although this app is calming and impressive, the glitches DEFINITELY need to be fixed!

I have not one time been able to move the rings. Everytime no matter what, they just go back to their previous positions. This is ridiculous

Downloaded it two hours ago and I'm in love with it
The gameplay is ingenious and relaxing. The App Store is filled with stupid running games and such but this right here is what I call a good and a unique game. You should definitely download it. It's worth it. Oh, and, I'm not taking a star off because it is not optimized for iPhone 5 because it works really well nonetheless.

I downloaded this game on a whim and don't regret it. It features an intuitive but challenging gameplay that is perfect to play in those 2-4 minute increments. The puzzles begin on an easy level but gradually rises to more difficult mode. Cute artwork and story vignette doesn't hurt either.

Great artwork, gameplay and writing. Great challenge and difficulty curve. As in the title, I would buy it again for retina iPad graphics--if they include it as a free update later I would give it 6 stars!
