Downloaded the paid app to my iPad and the free remote app to my iPhone. Conceptually, this is a tremendous idea for hunting. There are much more expensive things in the market that do this than $2.99. However, there are big bugs in the software, so don't buy this for the remote function until fixed. When I open both apps up simultaneously (doesn't work unless both are open, which is challenging the "remote" concept already), I am able to connect and pair my devices. However, a box pops up on my iPad saying I'm now paired that disallows any other function on the screen. And the kicker is the only option afforded in this box is "disconnect." So, you can connect, but you can't make it work. Otherwise, the sounds from the iPad are reasonable given the speaker they're working with on an iPad. Good list of animal sound options. But, most hunters will be most interested in the remote options, which needs a lot more work on the Bluetooth connectivity (ie, keep connection open and need to be able to create a connection without the remote device being in ones hand). So, tread carefully on this one.
