You are going to love the flexibility that this update provides for you in the field. Download today and get started logging your next adventure!
2.4
2022-07-21
HuntLeague 2.4 offers several new activity types. Over the past year we have received tons of feedback and questions about logging activities that fall outside of just a hunt or scout. We added "Caller" for times you go to the field to help call in an animal for a buddy. "Tagalong (no tag)" has been added when you participate in a hunt with a buddy but you don't have a tag. Select the "Mentor" activity when taking a family member, young person, or first time hunter out. HuntLeague 2.4 also offers a "Guide/Outfitter" activity allowing professionals to capture and share client stories privately or with the community.
These new activities pave the way for future leagues and add new leaderboard, map, and hunt log filters. For example, HuntLeague members will be able to filter for top performing guides/outfitters and review hunt logs that have been shared with the community. This will help our members determine if an outfitter provides the experience they are looking for in a future hunt.
Elevation has been added for all stored waypoints under the event details. Force touch on the map screen to see elevation for specific coordinates.
HuntLeague 2.4 addressed bug issues related to the sync process and editing the timeline of an existing hunt or scout.
2.3
2022-05-03
HuntLeague 2.3 introduces the ability to record your conservation efforts in the field. The HuntLeague app is committed to documenting the story of a hunt and 2.3 is the first step in capturing the collective conservation efforts of hunters. There is more to hunting than the pursuit of an animal. Hunters are passionate about the conservation of both the land and animals for future generations.
HuntLeague is the first hunting platform that gives you inside access to personal hunting journals shared from some of today's best hunters. Learn from World Champion Elk Callers in the West, Whitetail legends from North Dakota down to Texas, and duck, pig, & predator hunters from coast to coast.
This changes everything! Here are a few ways that HuntLeague 2.3 benefits hunters everywhere:
1. Mentoring: Learn from other hunters as they share timelines, strategies, tactics, and the gear they used to be successful. Find out what actually goes into a successful hunt or season.
2. Conservation: Your story is important and it is a small part of a much bigger story. As population estimates, tag fees, new equipment, and environmental changes occur it is important to document and share our stories. Often we hear hunters talk about how things have changed over the past 5, 10, or 20 years (both good and bad) but we don't have anything definitive to back those stories up. HuntLeague now allows hunters to document those stories to pass on to the next generation and inspire change. Whether we see declining turkey numbers, the reintroduction of wolves, a ban on bear hunting, or the impacts of wildfires; your hunting knowledge and legacy should be preserved and passed on to others helping shape future conservation efforts.
3. Hunter Recruitment: Often when we discuss hunter recruitment issues it has to do with access to land, equipment, and lack of mentors/training. HuntLeague is committed to helping remove barriers of entry for both new and seasoned hunters. There can be a big barrier for a duck hunter in Louisiana to jump into their first Western big game hunt or vice versa. By sharing hunt logs, we inspire new and existing hunters to expand their horizons and be willing to take that next step to hunt a new species and chase that next adventure.
4. Privacy & Location Information: Location specific data is not and will not be available with shared logs on the Community page. We realize how important it is for you as a hunter to find and protect your special spot. Your privacy and protecting personal information is a top priority. Hunt Logs are never automatically shared and you will always maintain control of what you share and who you share it with. Nervous you shared too much? Simply uncheck a box and your hunt log will no longer be shared on the Community page or with the selected buddy, party, or league.
The share options are intentionally placed at the bottom of each Hunt Log. This allows you to first review your notes, pictures, videos, etc before you choose to share your story. Hunt Areas/Stands are listed but the names of those areas/stands are not visible to others as they often contain unit or location specific information not intended for public sharing.

2.2.2

HuntLeague 2.2 unlocks the potential of LEAGUES! Now individuals, influencers, outdoor brands, conservation organizations, local shops and clubs can create and host their own league. Make your league public or private, invitation only, species/method of take specific, etc. Leagues create an entirely new way for hunters to connect, share stories and compete.
Version 2.2 is for all the inch and ounce counters that have been looking to add antler scores, weight, beard and spur length, etc to their harvest. These success scores do not impact the HuntLeague leaderboard but they allow you to record the harvest details that matter to you as a hunter.

Hunt Logs are never automatically shared and you will always maintain control of what you share and who you share it with. Nervous you shared too much? Simply uncheck a box and your hunt log will no longer be shared on the Community page or with selected buddies or parties.
The Community share button is strategically placed at the bottom of a Hunt Log. This allows you to first review your notes, pictures, videos, etc preventing you from oversharing information. Hunt Areas/Stands are listed but the names of those areas/stands are not visible to others as they may contain unit or location specific information not intended for public sharing.
v2.1.3 includes improved security measures, several new manufacturers, bug fixes, messaging within leagues, new league sponsors and prizes.

HuntLeague 2.1 is a game changer! Gain access to the personal hunting journals of some of today's best hunters. Learn from World Champion Elk Callers in the West, Whitetail legends from North Dakota down to Texas, and duck, pig, & predator hunters from coast to coast. The HuntLeague app works as a private hunting journal but now gives you the option to share your Hunt Logs with the HuntLeague Community without any location data. This changes everything! Here are just a few ways that HuntLeague 2.1 benefits hunters everywhere:
Often we hear other hunters talk about how things have changed over the past 5, 10, or 20 years (both good and bad) but we don't have anything definitive to back those stories up.
HuntLeague aims to help by removing barriers of entry for new hunters and even amongst seasoned hunters. There is a big barrier for a duck hunter in Louisiana to jump into their first Western big game hunt or vice versa. By sharing your hunt logs you can help inspire new hunters and existing hunters to expand their horizons and be willing to take that next step to hunt a new species and chase that next adventure.
