I fixed an issue that showed no categories when updating to 1.1 on some devices.

On some devices when you update to 1.1 from 1.0 the Categories end up going blank.
I have already submitted release 1.1.1 to fix this, but it may take a few days to get approved, so if you can hold off a few days to update, please do. If you have already updated you can remove the app and then add it again, and it should fix the issue.

I only needed simple totals, not a lot of graphs and tables. This app is the bare necessities. Easy to navigate. I hope they expand the categories eventually to include brand name foods.

iCarb a great app for Carb counting!
I’ve just installed and began using iCarb right away and am quite pleased with the information it supplies besides beside Carbohydrates such as fats, calories, Fiber content per portion of a food item. iCarb is a must have App for those who want something quick, concise and all the info for essential diet monitoring.

Good but could use an update
I really like this app. It is simple and gives you what you need to know. It does need updating, however. Some common foods are missed. Also, there are some bugs. The lower third of the screen is blacked out and the last field has no response. But, it is still very helpful.

Glad I only paid 1.99 for this app. It has errors in carb data - for example carbs for one carrot is wrong. There is NO tracking function and I can’t see that you can add any foods.

Pretty good... With some reservations
I shopped around for an app that can give me straight forward carb info on food items and recommended portions. This app was the best I have found thus far... However some of the nutritional info is incorrect.. For instance a medium carrot is listed as having 73 carbs with a net carb of 5.1... Wow that's wild and completely inaccurate. It's clear after looking closer that the carbs are 7.3 minus the fiber of 2.2 to get the net carbs of 5.1. I have basic knowledge of how to calculate net carbs but someone just beginning would have the wrong info. Otherwise seems like a pretty good app... Just make sure you look closely and if something seems off double check it.

Very very limited
This app is about like reading a nutritional facts label and nothing more. The database is thorough enough for most food ingredients an average person would use and even includes alcohol, but it provides basic info only. The serving size is preset, so you have to mentally calculate any adjustments. It would also be useful if a feature was added that lets you combine ingredients for a meal, but that's not in here. If calculability were added, I'd consider paying for this app, but as it is, it should be free.

Good Value
No sure why the store says this has no ratings. And especially not sure why anyone would dislike this. It has lots of foods and is quick and easy to use. And it costs less than the others I looked at. A buck well spent.
