Now called….ICE Medical Standard App lets you put your Emergency Medical Contact Information on Your Smartphone's Lock Screen Image Overlay Display, if you are in an Accident, First Responder’s, EMS, EMTs, FEMA, and ER Staff can find Your Emergency Medical Contact Information as soon as they turn on your Smartphone

Over 14,000 Hospitals, Medical Clinics, Medical Schools and Visiting Angels - America’s Choice in Homecare and Living Assistance Services. With over 550 franchise offices across the United States are recommending and listing ICE Medical Standard App on their Websites and Emergency Pages.

First Responder’s, EMS, EMTs, FEMA, and ER Staff can view Your 3 Color Coded Medical Status by viewing the 1 of 3 colors on top of the ICE Medical Standard App or Your Smartphone Lock Screen Overlay Display to gain at-a-glance insight into Your Well-Being. Yellow Color Code is Medium Risk Status – Alert and indicates the user is taking only Medications. If none of these apply, Green Color Code means you are Good To Go Status. You Can Choose To Show or Hide which Personal Information is displayed on your Smartphone Lock Screen Overlay Display to Protect Your Privacy.

Since uploading the original ICE Standard Application on December 24, 2010, ICE Medical Standard App has over 100 Million Users in Untied States. Next Generation Framework Called Validated Collective Intelligence (VCI) ©
ICE Medical Standard Application & ICE Auto Insurance Standard
Is now replacing the current application with our Next Generation Framework Version NG-VCI -3.0
ICE Medical Standard Application was designed and developed using the SWAT Checklist and industry best practices without any Integrated API Extensions connecting to 3rd Party Applications. ICE Standard Medical Application reverts back to Joseph A. Ekman’s, August 2010, University of San Francisco’s original Research Study called “In Case of Emergency Standard”. Emphasis on utilizing the Smartphone’s or Tablets Device Lock Screen Overlay Display Image so First Responder’s, EMT, EMS and FEMA could access one’s Emergency Medical Contact Information by simply clicking on the devices power button. Immediately, 1 of 3 Colors is displayed on the Devices Lock Screen Overlay Display along with the Persons Medical Condition, thus giving the First Responder valuable information to get a baseline for Triage in Seconds vs. Minutes.

New Images added for ICE Medical Standard Application, and ICE Auto Insurance Standard Application.

pmprez99,
Great App
A very handy app to have, it came in handy recently when I found myself taking an ambulance ride to the hospital! I do have a couple of issues with it though. It is very hard to read when all the meds are listed in a bunch rather than as line items. Also, adding a new prescription Med with other prescription meds is impossible, at least as far as I can determine. I prefer to keep my prescription meds together and separate from my supplements. The only way I can tell to do this is to delete and start over which would be a complete waste of time and a pain! Otherwise I like having the ability to have all my important medical information in one easy to access place on my home screen.
vickingseminole,
Some Concerns
It’s a great app, but would like to see some enhancements. For medications, include dosage and when taken. Also be able to sort in alphabetic order or by when taken. Let us be able to chose. Also for allergies. Include an ICE contact with contact information. Include spell check for conditions and medications. Everyone needs to verify information every so often. That is, they forget to update information. Incorporate a reminder to appear say every six months to check it. Incorporate that this data is accurate as of a certain date. I often have to review all info to make sure accurate. If I see that I updated it after my last dr appt, I don’t need to review.

Have the capability to put images of driver license, insurance cards, etc. have the capability to alphabetize medications and conditions. For POC, include relationship. Incorporate info, especially for people who live alone, if there are pets at home. Incorporate website where additional medical records are, such as MyCharts. Incorporate list of physicians.
Mommadoxie,
News updates
I need to update my information but in order to do so I have to delete all of what is already there. I can’t just add to, change or delete just 1 item. I have to hit edit first.
App is very useful and has came in handy for me several times. Even at Dr offices when asked for med list why does the edit button have to be hit first?
I give them my phone with the app open.
How is the healthcare pros suppose to access all the info without hitting edit first.

a MUST OWN for EVERYBODY
This APP is definitely a “MUST OWN” for everyone everywhere.

Thank you Joseph A. Ekman for all your support and effort in assisting and helping out me with my most difficult struggles and hardships recently in my life. I am very proud to have had the opportunity to get to know you and even more proud of this incredible essential medical application for us all to achieve the best supportive quick & essential medical assistance we all deserve in our most vital and crucial time of need if ever anyone of us were in such a time of crisis.
Piccaso_not,
Very useful!
I’ve used this app since 2013 & I’ve had no issues at all. I read other comments about not being able to put medication dosages, or listing individual meds & in alphabetical order, not being able to add meds...all of which are not issues! When typing in my meds, I write the strength & dosage if over once p/day (X2, for ex), or as needed. Editing is a matter of placing the curser, backspace & write new med in, no biggie.
It’s a free app! You have to do some of the work yourself! It’s very handy for what it’s intended for. My doctors are impressed!
Chief of Surgery East Coast,
What The Doctor Ordered
I've been recommending this app since January 2011 to all My Family, Friends and Customers. The quality of ICE Medical Standard App has been consistently a 5 Star App. Only had to call Tech Support once for questions about features. How many FREE Apps give Phone Support? A must have App for First Responders and EMT's to get your Emergency Medical Contact Information within Seconds instead of Minutes. I've been following the ongoing success of ICE Standard from About The Kids Foundation and the University of San Francisco research paper titled "In Case Of Emergency Standard". I give this App 5 Stars.....

In Case of Emergency says it all
Having enough information available quickly in an emergency can save time and your life. In the big picture it is pretty much perfect. The issues with the medications that other reviews mentioned may be valuable. I don’t recall having entry issues with my meds when I changed or added one. It is important to set this as your screen do it can be seen if you are not able to turn it on.
Chipman the Big Bird,
Great app for setting up your ICE the Lock Screen
I found that I can type out my medication and the basic information by starting with a (1) at the beginning of the first medication being listed. Keep listing each medication with the same numerical format will make reading the list of medications easier.

ICE was created to help people with putting their information on the Lock Screen.
k9mama27,
It could be more.
I used ICE Standard today to make some changes to my health information. The app is a bit elementary in its appearance and is lacking certain features. It’s very hard to edit things like contacts or medication. There should be an edit button, then those 3 horizontal lines next to each medication to that you can long press on and slide and rearrange the order. I had to be a little crafty to move them up or down without the 3 lines edit feature. So I gave it 3 stars.
forgive9984,
Thanks
I find the application very beneficial however I’d like to enter my meds on separate lines and this app does not allow this. There is also nowhere to put supplements unless you put the under medication. It would also be very beneficial to have Past medical issues addressed in some format. The other thing that would be beneficial is that I have some cognitive deficits as a result of the TBI and therefore I cannot read and it would be nice for the medical facilities to know that.
