We're pretty excited to bring you this latest update! Our GPS feature in the app has been enhanced to the home screen so that you can easily see your live GPS coordinates, great if you need to give your current position to an emergency operator.

We have added quick links to the home screen for when you're in an emergency situation. These links are:

- CALL FOR HELP (which will bring up the emergency contact numbers for your country)
- BROADCAST (send out your GPS location instantly to your family and friends that are added in the app) – only available in full version.
- PERFORM CPR (a quick link to CPR instructions)

We have also made our CPR TIMER more visible on the CPR screens so that you can easily turn the timer on and set your phone to the side so that you can perform chest compressions at the optimal rate.

There have also been some minor bug fixes.

We hope you enjoy these latest changes. If you have any feedback on how we can improve the app, please don't hesitate to email us at [email protected]

Stay safe!

Rhi rocks the world,
Overall at good level with some issues
The emergency contacts for traveling especially and sections are very helpful however someone it can be TOO VAGUE. In CPR it says "check for danger" as in check for bleeding? Check for danger from what? From the surroundings? Or in the burns section I think it would be helpful to suggest brands of bandages or medications to bring if it happens away from home and in other categories too.
Heather Ryan ,
Great!!
I downloaded this app because I wanted a quick cheat sheet to use if I ever needed to give CPR (I've taken CPR classes) this app isn't really for teaching or training purposes so if that's what your expecting don't download. However if you need a quick reference for emergencies this I's perfect!

However, I think people should know that in some states (like California) if you call 911 from a cell phone (it takes longer for emergency workers to get there) the call does not go to a local responder, but to the highway patrol who then has to figure out your location and contact your local responder. So whenever possible it is best to call 911 from a landline!
iB-RaD,
Great Product
As an EMT-B in the state of NY, I can really appreciate a product like this. More times than not, having a civilian perform CPR or use an AED on scene can be the difference between life and death. Statistically, a patients chances of survival are 37 percent better if CPR is performed immediately. This guide didn't help me at all, as I am already trained in all this and more, but it is definitely great for someone to have. Thanks for creating a potentially life saving product.
James.Christian,
Could you please add...
Just last week one of my students left my class and then had a seizure in the following class and thank God the teacher "winged it" and did nothing detrimental to the student like the "old school" first aid method of shoving an object in the mouth to bite on... That is outdated says our school nurse. So, would you please add a section for "Seizures" in the app.

Kind Regards,
James
Digster79,
Good quick reference
Not a bad app for a quick reference. I mainly downloaded it for CPR. I think this app should most certainly include information on identifying and helping stroke victims! Another reviewer add seizures and that info would be handy to add perhaps in a future update.
KT2T,
Good start
Was unsure what would happen if I tapped the 911 in the lower right so I went into flight mode first just to make sure I didn't inadvertently dial 911. No worries, it won't dial 911 straight from the home screen without warning!

I am looking forward to future updates and hopefully a more feature-rich heavy (versus this light) version.
friggenbastard,
minimalist, but ok
They were not kidding when they said LITE. This app is minimalist and contains little, but is ok for those whom dont know these things already. Just not suitable for me as the knowledge contained is pretty much well known info or common sense
SB loves ya,
Precautions
Great idea for baby sitters! You know how those terrible twos are!! Could use more stuff, but this is definatly info you want close by... Just in case.
Reignizzle,
This rocks!
It helps to know this stuff for jobs and to, well, save lives. Simple isn't bad for this app. Besides, it's a first aid guide not medical school.
skozlowski95,
Good Idea
I havn't used it yet but from useful pictures it looks like it could be a realy help and come in handy!!
