Thank you to all who have written us with your stories and thanks about how RideReady helped you pass your FAA checkrides! Your feedback allows us to even refine and improve our content to allow future pilots to be even more confident and knowledgeable as they go into their FAA practical tests, and your kind words help keep us going! This latest RideReady update adds a number of new questions and updates a number of charts and graphs to be more current. Questions have been modified to correspond to new airspace rules and airspace classifications. Usability has been improved in a few places and the app should be a bit faster overall. We've fixed a few small bugs dealing with custom aircraft data too. This is also the first new version since we've added JR, another former FAA designated pilot examiner to our editorial team, so you can look forward to content based on his 20 years of experience as an examiner integrated into the question databases soon. Saved a lot of Money
I have tried to use other applications to help me study for various FAA tests but they would have outdated questions or it would only be a final test and not help with the preparation of the test. I believe that the work that was put into this app but all the other apps that they have made is extremely well thought out and done in a fashion that makes it easy for the user to customize what they need to study for and what they are having trouble remember for the test. They also have amazing customer support for any questions that you have or any problems you have with the app. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to study for an FAA test and be able to study anywhere at anytime.

Best IFR oral and check ride prep available
I have purchased and tried several instrument oral and check ride prep apps out there. Dauntless is hands down the best. With the aircraft specific questions and the digital update you feel like you are sitting in front of a DPE. Great graphics!

Flagged questions feature unreliable
Lots if questions to review but the app will randomly delete flagged questions. Its terrible to go through 1000+ questions and have 100 marked questions get wiped out.

Has over a thousand questions which, in my opinion, could easily be cut down to maybe 200. Quantity isn't quality. You can mark questions for review but theres no tracking of study sessions to see how well you're doing. You just have to select a section and wade through its questions aimlessly. I think this could be a great app if they added the ability to track your progress and only had the most likely questions you could expect to see on your check ride.

Very good IFR prep
The amount of questions in these apps is amazing. Much better than the thin Asa booklets. I have a few students who fly sr22s and like how this app covers technically advanced aircraft systems in addition to standard aircraft. The coverage of fir material here is comprehensive and well organized.

Better than Sporty's Instrument App
I purchased Sporty's instrument app initially before abandoning it because it was too clunky and not as usable for studying. I then purchased this app from Dauntless and absolutely love it.

IFR Checkride Oral Exam
Every time I go to use the program I get a database failure message, and then I have to reload the app. App runs okay for a few days and then same error again. Needs to be fixed.
Also agree with previous poster regarding flagged questions.
