iLuna is an interactive astrological calendar.

iLuna allows to easily find out the lunar phase, the Moon's position in the signs of the zodiac and mansions, the periods of void-of-course Moon and the periods of retrograde Mercury for any day from the year 2005 to the year 2050. It also provides a description for each phase, sign and mansion. You can navigate through the information in various ways — say, phase-by-phase, day-by-day or month-by-month - whatever is more convenient for you.
Phases show you the energy of the day, signs — the mood of the day, while the void-of-course periods might tell you when it is better not to do certain things. Mansions were used by different cultures from the time immemorial, they tell for what a particular day is good or not so good. And the periods of retrograde Mercury are able to gift you an unusual idea but at the same time create mayhem in your business activities.
Those New and Full Moons that are eclipses, are now marked as such.
To calculate the times, iLuna uses the time zone of the device on which it runs, so if your iPhone or iPad shows your current time correctly, iLuna's information is precise too.
Once any of the events reported by iLuna happens, you will get a notification, provided you allowed the app to send you notifications.
You can choose which elements of information you prefer to see, but you should have at least three of them turned on.

Great App for Daily Planning!!!!
This app is a great little tool for keeping up with what's happening with the Moon. I love it and use it every day. At first I gave it four stars because one of the issues is that it doesn't always take you to what's happening in this moment when you press "Now" on the bottom menu. I found that the workaround for that is to go to the calendar, which is an AWESOME feature and click on today's date. I am giving this five stars because I use this app for daily planning and truly it's become indispensable!!

Soooooo quick rundown, I actually pirated this app to see if it was any good and fell in love right away! So I bought it! This is probably sometime in 2014 or earlier. I adore their website, and love this app… you can get a ton of information on the go whenever needed. It is my sidekick for planning spells and events. I totally loved this app...Until recently. It used to show the lunar mansions in the monthly calendar but now it only shows white circles and I am not seein mansions anymore (iOS 14.0 on iPhoneXR). For a paid for app, I would hope for some growth in design and features by now. Don’t get me wrong, the app is just fine as it is I suppose, but for an app that’s been around as long as this one I would have thought you guys would at least have features that worked if not added features by now. Those are my only gripes, otherwise the app is perfect! If you are thinking about buying the app, I do recommend it especially if you are a newbie witch.

So much potential....
This is one of those apps that you see so much potential in, and keep getting frustrated about. At first glance, the app seems awesome and accurate, but start flipping through dates and that's when things will get loopy. The lunar mansions information gives inaccurate results when a date is chosen. From there, if you pass the days either forward or backwards, lunar mansions will NOT change. Another problem is, the app hasn't been updated for one year. I wrote to the developers in their website, due to the fact I've purchased all their apps (Lunar Diary and Hours both paid apps) to let them know the mansions of the Moon were missing in them and in the iLuna app they're bugged... It's been about two weeks perhaps... No response. Developers must be sleeping and don't want to make money. 🙄😏

Don’t too large can’t see when moon changes phases
I loved this ap until a few days ago with most recent update goofed things up . With cancer the moon child in my family moon phases are important to time things in our lives. With this new upgrade under the now setting FONT IS TOO LARGE and I can’t see WHEN -the TIME- the moon is changing phases. Please bring back the times and fix this!!! I use this ap all day long when making plans and setting appointments. It’s also hard to read when you open up the date to find out about todays phase as it’s too large. Please fix. I’ve sent soo many people to this ap. With the other changes you’ve added and these new issues corrected this will be a five star ap!

good simple app with occasional glitches
i really like this app for its simplicity, and usually i’ve found that it is accurate and works without any issues. however, the past few days something strange happened when the moon went void of course. i received a double notification for it. the first was the usual voc notification but the second one said “moon is void of course: buy some milk.” ..lol?! this happened again today for the notifications when the moon changed signs, “buy some milk.”
another recent glitch was the little white circles with numbers in the bottom right corner of the calendar days above the signs were blank. i’d never seen these circles before, but then today numbers appeared in them. #1 begins with aries, in some practices considered the first zodiac sign, but i’ve never seen moon days numbered like that before besides day one being the new moon. maybe there is something i don’t know about this!
one other suggestion i would make is for the time navigation- swiping left and right is easy enough for nearby dates, but for years earlier or later it’s not convenient; one time when i swiped back and made it back a number of years, the app ended up crashing. perhaps in addition to the swiping function, there can be the option to enter a date and be brought directly to that date.
i definitely still recommend this app, it’s simplicity makes it very easy to use, there are just a few occasional minor glitches that could be addressed.

Best moon app (but what’s with the “buy some milk?”)
I have been using this app for well over a year or so now. Simple and to the point. Perfectly color coded for the elements of the moon signs, It has a void of course notification which is incredibly useful.
Edit: Can there be an option to turn off the lunar mansions notifications and just keep the moon sign notifications? There should be more customization ability for these notifications. Please and thank you!

I do have a question for the owner of this app . See below . Otherwise I love the app. I had it for a few years on my Samsung and had to buy it again when I switched to an iPhone because I like it so much .
Please tell me why the calendar does not have SUNDAY? It only has 6 days a week in the monthly view of the days. I looked for a way to adjust the setting but didn’t find anything. Is there a view that shows the seven days ? I think this is weird and I’d much prefer seeing all the days. Is it my phone or what?

I suggested a notification when the moon goes void and clear and the developer responded, made it happen. iLuna went from being a good app, to being great app.
Now another suggestion (if its even possible), the app icon on my home screen (talking cell phn here, where most ppl access iLuna), if that icon could glow/be red while the moon is void and its default white on black when clear, that would be stellar.
The notification is great, love it thx, but we’re always looking at our home screens, it would be a luxury if every time I looked at my home screen I would see the iLuna app either red, or black.
Remembering void/clear times is a chore, sometimes I set a timer, but then sometimes I forget the moon is void (especially if its a long void). Again, not an app designer, don’t even know if this is possible.

I love this app, but …
The notification previews on the iPhone and Apple Watch for the phases with the Arabic names (don’t know what this is called) are always wrong, sometimes laughingly so. For example, yesterday we entered S’ad Bula: my Apple Watch notification described its essence as “Nurture and nutrition. Fulfillment.” However, opening the app I see the essence as: “conflict, separation, freedom, healing.” I assume the app is correct?
Otherwise this is a very informative app - but it would be handy to have that notification glitch fixed.

Clunky Now
New version is almost unusable on an iPad, which I suspect affects the majority of users. Sizing of the month viewing panel cuts off the last week. Attempts to re-size the monthly view jerkily sends one to the adjacent month. This has been the best moon app for years. Please fix this and return us to sanity. Please be better. Thank you.
It’s been a hard month now, no fix to the above. My text is sized to minimum, but last row of days on the monthly view is still cut off, not viewable on iPad. Please address this issue.
