Like Aesop, Friendly Fox always provides the players with a “moral of the story.” In this case, love, humanity and kindness are real treasures, while an excess of money leads to greed and misery. The graphics were beautiful and the cinematography was exciting. Collectibles included morphing objects and foxes. The gimmick was a magical bracelet, where you must find portions of the creatures’ souls to learn their stories and progress through the game. Both the mini-games and HO scenes had a wonderful variety. As per the usual, gameplay was very interactive and there were a plethora of tasks to accomplish. At the end of the main game, you must make a choice, but I won’t spoil it any further. The only negatives were that in some locations, the collectibles were hidden behind the menu/ magnifying glass icons and were hard to reach, and the game was very short in length. Still and all, it was a poignant story and it held my interest. My true rating will be 4.5 stars. If the game had been lengthy I would have rated it a full 5 stars. Everyone, this is a must purchase gem of a game! Buy and enjoy! Friendly Fox, keep them coming. I speak for everyone, especially since Domini keeps releasing unplayable games with fatal errors (yes, there’s another one!)
