Great HD Quality
Great works of art for the price. Stunning images on the iPad 2. Like the fact I can download a HD quality on demand so each picture is not stored on my device. Good value. I also have their Louvre & London National Gallery apps. Sensible interface. You can view the index and thumbnails at the same time in landscpe mode.

I love Van Gogh
And this is the BEST app for seeing lots van Gogh work in great quality. I paid for the upgrade and its wayyyy worth it. I scroll through a few paintings before bed, it's so relaxing. Again, great quality, and lots of material. Highly educational too if you are an art lover.

Beautiful Selection of the Masters
I am learning to recognize the artist by their style, as well as genre, which is giving more reference points in discovering my own.

Too simple and uninformative
Good for mindlessly looking at a few pictures. But you can do the same with a Google search! So it's practically redundant. And there's almost no info about the pictures, artists, or the movement. Plus it is very narrow, shows only works by 14 Impressionist artists. Not a good teaching tool to learn from. Also, I don't think this was made by someone that speaks English because the genres are not all English words.

Nice HD pictures
Pictures that come free with the app are nice, limited selection that you can expand for $0.99 The free version has a nice selection of Renoir paintings and they look great on the new iPad.

a terrific app. this is what i expect to see in an iPad app. I will be upgrading. Other developers should look at this app, you just might learn something.
